Everything in this kit fit spectacularly and performs exactly like the original. The challenge was removing the old drain plug. A simple bolt with a lock nut the right size made a simple, cost effective extraction tool. The hinges went right on. I recommend doing the slotted holes on the lid first, everything loose and tighten the lower screws on the cooler bottom first. Tighten, (but don't overtighen) everything last. My old cooler is just like new for a fraction of the full replacement cost!

These replacements are dimensionally accurate and fit perfectly. They are easy to install as well.

This extended the life of the cooler by restoring the function of a lid that hinges rather than just sits on the body of the cooler (as it has for far too long). Remove the rusted screws from the broken hinges and clean the area under the old hinge. The apply the replacement hinge and use the supplied new screws - all bright and shiny. When attaching the new hinge place the "unadjustable" side on the cooler and the "adjustable" side on the lid - just in the event one must make the smallest of adjustment to fit properly. This kit contains a drain plug which I will install soon. I inspected it closely and found it to be a suitable replacement. Although the cooler has seen better days and is not anywhere close to being truly efficient I did not want to add it to the landfill before absolutely necessary. It is sufficient to keep some drinks cold on the front porch of the ranch house while entertaining friends in the South Texas heat (9 months out of 12). I found the product to be cost effective - thus a good value. I recommend this kit for putting your Coleman cooler back into operating condition.
