Results in minutes
I was pretty hesitant to buy this product, considering it’s bad reviews and pretty high priced. I finally said whatever and decided to just buy it. I can happily say I do not regret it. I’ve never had really bad skin but using the mask at work for 20+ hours a week has definitely changed that. It hasn’t been too bad, the texture of my skin has changed and I was looking for a product to help with the small bumps. My skin is super sensitive so for me to find a product that helps and doesn’t irritate is rare. After one use I can see and feel changes in my skin. The scent is strong but nothing too bad.

This stuff is AWESOME, especially if you are familiar with the world of chemical peels
Definitely recommending this product to all my friends and family. I’ve used many peels, have adult cystic acne, and have tried so many different acne treatments (including accutane for a short time) and this one does a number on my acne prone skin!! When used in conjunction with appropriate moisturizing, not over-exfoliating and getting all peel-happy, my skin has smoothed out and calmed down, and have gotten compliments on how much better it looks. Definitely do research and follow instructions carefully when using in case your skin is extra sensitive. I live in a dry climate and my skin is oily, but I still have to watch how much I moisturize and exfoliate with acids like this one. It’s a great product and so far I think all the products I’ve tried from them are top shelf.

It will slice you to shreds (however it works well)
OK, this is a strange review. The product itself is fantastic. It’s a very very good product but the packaging… That damn top has cut me three times. You’ve got to do something about how sharp the edge of the top is. So the product gets five stars the packaging gets one star so three stars it is.

WOW works like a charm
This product is no joke I’ve been using acids for quite a while (years, I’d say) and was not expecting such instant results. For reference, I use the Paulas Choice 2% BHA almost daily, the 8% AHA interchanging with the 4% BHA, along with other acids. Tried a low grade Trentinoin for a while but it dried me out like I’ve never experienced before. I have oily-ish normal-ish skin, I’d say? My main concerns are large pores on cheeks, forehead lines, and deep milia on cheeks. THIS product not only worked overnight to leave me with baby soft skin, clearer pores and reduced redness but also I can see a difference within a few days of it working. I feel like my deep set white bumps are diminishing. I will caution you - as someone who is experienced in acids, even this caused some dryness and flaking. Not too severe… it easily covers up with a thick moisturizer (The Ordinary hyaluronic usually), makeup prep (non silicone based primer) and foundation. I’ve been using this about twice a week for 2-3min/session, and in conjunction with the Anua toner, Cocokind barrier serum, some oil, and either Paula’s Choice hydrating treatment mask or Kiehls moisturizer. I’d say it’s a great bang for your buck and definitely works as promised. Just please be careful because it is potent. Good luck!

10% works for my sensitive skin
I have very acne-prone, sensitive skin. I started out with an OTC 2% salicylic acid cream and went through the purging process for about 6 weeks, which was not fun, but you've got to get through the bad to get to the good sometimes. I still was having breakouts, so I decided to try this 10% salicylic acid. It is helping to further clear my skin, including whiteheads & blackheads, which I don't think that I would have accomplished with my 2% OTC cream, or at least not as quickly. As far as my sensitive skin, I am really glad that I purchased the 10% instead of the 20%. It starts to burn after about 1 minute. I started out washing it off after 1 min and gradually increasing it by 1 min every few days. I can now do the full 5 min with the burning sensation being tolerable. I plan on repurchasing this product.

There’s Pros and Cons But I Will 100% Repurchase
This stuff works! I have severe keratosis pilaris on my face and arms. Nothing seems to control the bumps, even my prescription retinoids. However, this peel shows results in as little as one use. I used it all over my face one night and then as a spot treatment on my bumps another night. While nothing is going to magically fix your skin overnight, I had at least a 50-60% improvement in just 2 uses. Will definitely be repurchasing when I run out. A few things to note- this did cause a stinging sensation on my face. However, I’m used to this side effect because I’m a frequent user of salicylic acid products. If you’re new to salicylic acid and/or peels, be careful with this! Another thing is the consistency of the product- it is thick (almost like a gel). Because of this, the dropper is basically useless. I’ve been just dipping the dropper in the bottle and then I rub the product off the sides of the dropper with a cotton round or swab. I’m thinking about transferring the product to a different container entirely that is easier to use. Despite these negatives, it’s still so worth it for me. I was using the Paula’s choice 9% salicylic acid but it’s $30-$40 for barely any product. This product is more cost effective and I even think it works better.
