A great multi-functional clock
I purchased this clock for one thing and it was for the projection digital clock display. The added bonus was the indoor/outdoor temperature, radio-controlled time sync and weather forecast. This is my third purchase because I had to have one in each bedroom. It comes with a manual and DC adapter. You will need 2-AA batteries to retain settings during a power outage. Effortless setup with time zone selections, Celsius or Fahrenheit for the temp. The display (red) light is easily adjustable, rotates and it displays the time on the bottom, and the temp at the same time; alternating between indoor/outdoor temps. Overall a great digital clock!

Good quality and it's so easy to read the time and temps when waking up without much effort.
The instructions were intimidating at first because this present was unwrapped later in the evening. If you're kinda old like me don't set it up until you have all of your thought process abilities and then it is easily understood. So I waited till the morning, which is also better for putting the outdoor sensor up. The projection part is substantial, and we set it for about 5 feet up on the wall. The clock itself has beautiful colors on the screen and shows clouds or sun and humidity percentage. (My older one like this was also an atomic clock and lasted 22 years, but while the projected numbers were seen well, the screen was difficult to see.)

Fantastic little clock with so much functionality!
I'm kind of amazed at what all they packed into this little guy. I have terrible eyesight, so when I take my glasses off at night, I have to grab my phone to check the time. Normal nightstand clocks are too small, or take up too much room on my nightstand if they're large enough for me to read. This is a perfect compromise. It's form factor is very small comparatively, yet it projects the time onto the ceiling just above my bed at enough of a distance so as to make the numbers large enough for me to read with ease. Additionally, I can read the weather forecast at a glance as the pattern behind the information flashes gently different colors (raining falls if it's raining, clouds move if it's cloudy, etc.) Not enough to be a distraction or keep me up at night, but definitely enough for my blind eyes to see at a glance. I love that the temperature reader is integrated into the time flashes. Just a few seconds on each temperature (inside/outside) is perfect for me to get an idea of what my day will be like. Only thing that I wish was slightly different is the angle of display. The display of the laser on the ceiling is directly in line on the same axis as the way the clock is facing. Yes, you can switch the display 180 degrees, but it would be really nice if you could switch it only 90 degrees. I would like my clock to face my bed, but I would like the laser clock on the ceiling to be facing the foot of the bed. As it sits, I have to sort of turn it 45 degrees to the bed so they are both angled slightly. Minor complaint, really. Overall happy with the purchase.

Worth the money, but not perfect.
Not bad. The screen is nice but would be better if you could dim it. The outdoor sensor works well. The projected time has two brightness levels, the dimmer one is too dim to make out in the daytime. The brightest projection is dimmer than I would like even at night but you can definitely see it at night. It would be nice if you could adjust the size of the projection. Haven't tried the alarm function and probably wont with how small the buttons are, but thats not the reason I bought it. I like the weather forecast info thats via RF rather than needing wifi. Overall I'm not upset with the Dr Prepare clock for the $25 I paid. But it could be better.

Subpar
It works, kinda. The clock keeps time just fine. The interior temp seems to be right. The exterior temp is the issue. It keeps losing the signal with the outside sensor. There's nothing in the instructions that I can find to quickly reset the signal. I went online and found a video for another brand that looked similar. The videos information seems to work with this one too. Now I can reset the signal quickly. I dislike the buttons to turn the alarm on/off. The location and lack of ease to get them to function is just poor design. You pretty much have to pick it up to turn the alarm off/on. It takes a fingernail to get the tiny button to click from on position to the other. I like the projector as I don't have to try and roll over to see the time. It would help if the projector showed the alarm being active too. The description listed all the stuff I wanted in an alarm and more. It just would be nice if it actually worked. Outside temp sensor refuses to stay connected. I went a few months with it working and it quit again. Recommended NOT purchasing this brand unless you like being annoyed. For those who have this clock already. When it loses the signal to the outside sensor the instructions are a mess. It says to reset everything you have to pull the battery, I plug the clock, take battery out of sensor, wait ten-15min, etc.... Ignore that, on the top the button marked +/ch. Press and hold it for a few seconds and the clock will try and find the sensor again. Release the button and click it a few times until it has the radio signal above a 1 and a refresh symbol below it wait about a second and then click one more time. The refresh symbol will disappear and the clock will finally find the sensor again. I do it almost everyday. Kept it for awhile, got tired of fighting with the outside temp sensor. It started giving random wrong readings. One morning it claimed it was 90 degrees outside (it was 59) ten minutes passed and ot started dropping and decided it was only 83 (still in the high 50's) an hour later it said high 70's (was in the sixties) then it just stopped working. Took me an hour to get it to function again. I had the outside sensor inside laying next to the clock. When it started working it claimed it was 85 while the clock said 72. I left it overnight and it finally came close to the same temps. Still two degree different, and the humidity was way off. I gave up and ordered something similar. Hopefully it works right. It would be nice to know the outside temp before I climb out of bed. It's nice to know what I need to plan on wearing for the day.

This was a gift for my son in law to replace one from Oregon Scientific that he had for many years. It has a more colourful screen than the old one, but he is very happy with it.

Good that it has an outside thermostat - temp reader, the projector is good, but the clock face is cluttered, not the best alarm clock.

C'est très dispendieux et pas très solide ,ça reste du plastique et la base n'est pas stable ,j'aurais préfère qu'il sois plus lourd.
