I have a 2013 Dacia Duster, bought this as the rubber covering the lock button had cracked and then broken off. Tried going to a key shop could couldn't help so bought this online and did it myself. Easy to switch over, looks good as new and working perfectly. Great value for money.

I got this to replace the one in a Dacia Sandera stepway 2016. One of the springs had weakened on the battery connection so the remote unlocking no longer worked. I only for ease wanted to change the half with the battery in it, unfortunately although it looks identical to the original it is not exactly the same size and it will not fit so I had to change both haves. The printed circuit board and key do fit easily in the replacement unit. The this comes with two replacement switches to replace the originals on the printed circuit board, I did not use these but handy if the problem is that one of the switches does not work.

The one that worked was exactly what I needed. I have no idea what's wrong with the other one. It just doesn't deliver power from the battery to the circuit board so I guess the contacts aren't aligning correctly.

The locking button on my Kangoo Van had worn through and in time the exposed micro switch fell apart. I was anticipating an expensive visit to the dealers but thought I'd check what was available on Amazon. The replacement fob arrived and it was a simple job to transfer the internals of the fob across. It came with replacement switches that were the same size as the originals. I managed to save myself the job of soldering in a new switch by dismantling one and transferring the necessary parts onto the old switch. All working fine again for under £7, bargain!!

The board and battery seem to fit OK, but it doesn't work. When I put the board and battery back in the old fob, it does work. Swapped three times but no joy. I suspect the metal prongs for the battery (shown on the right of the image, without the battery) are out of alignment or too short. (Bought for 2015 Dacia Duster 4x4.)
