It works
It's the same as the OEM differential. These aren't very difficult to install yourself. You just have to get past the weight (~80 pounds). Or you can have a mechanic do it for a few hundred bucks in labor. Being cast iron, it probably wouldn't hurt to get a can of rubberized undercoating, and spray it before installation. Otherwise the cast iron will start rusting.

Seems to be a Solid Replacement for Rear Differential
This is a solid replacement for the Cadillac ATS. Its identical to the OEM part and seems to be a really good quality. The shell is cast iron with enameled paint coating. From what I can see, the price seems to be pretty competitive, however there is no listed warranty for this item so I would take that into account when purchasing. There is only Amazon’s 30 return policy. If you are not installing it yourself, sometimes it could take that long just to get a mechanic to put it in.
