It's an attractive umbrella that opens and closes well (be sure to wrap the strap around the umbrella AND hold the button that opens and closes the canopy WHILE pushing it down to close). However, there seemed to be few positive remarks about the flashlight in the handle, and the flashlight on my umbrella doesn't work at all. I took out the plastic disc that was intended to keep the batteries from activating in shipping, I tried various configurations of the batteries, and nada. I don't know if it's the bulb or the batteries, or something else, and it's probably not worth the price of the batteries to try out a fresh set for the number of times I anticipate I would actually use the flashlight...but I wouldn't buy this umbrella just because of the flashlight. I bought this umbrella because I needed a smaller umbrella that would actually open and close, and this one does that very well. Edit: after an unknown magical event, the flashlight began working and it is a nice addition to an attractive and already useful umbrella. I would purchase it again.

This umbrella was exactly what I needed. It's great for when you get inside the car/house from the rain and you don't want to get anything wet. It was also great in the wind-there was no flipping/turning inside out. Very sturdy

Overall, I do like this umbrella. I think it will last much longer than cheaper ones I've bought in the past. I've gone through at least 2 umbrellas per year! Mostly, the ribs are the ones that break most often. I don't think that will happen here and I chose one with 10 ribs! The only thing that is so hard for me is actually closing the umbrella. It does collapse with the open/close click but the only way I can get the shaft closed is by putting it on the ground and pushing down on the handle.... not fun when you're trying to get in your car in pouring rain! I do like the reflective stripe and the flashlight at the end.

Works very good fit perfectly in my bag also I like the light that it has on it helps a lot.

I’ll be buying another as a back up, really is wind proof, good size and as a person with retinitis pigmentosa the flashlight on the handle comes in VERY useful. A little difficult to push the pole back in after closing but not a deal breaker. Do wish it had a wrist strap

Very pretty umbrella, but once opened, no-one could close it again. Thought there might be a button or secret maneuver to close it, but none of us could figure it out. Might make a good party game?

Purchased this umbrella for our trip to Lisbon. The umbrella was compact and comfortable and light weight for my bag. It’s durable and reliable but the best part was how pretty in came out in pictures on a dreary over cast day.

Vivo en república Dominicana y la sombrilla (o paraguas) es pequeño como para una persona, si es funcional y compacta, pero el armazon de metal se siente fragil, creo que no soportaría un viento fuerte. Le doy 3 estrellas porque es practica, pero solo para 1 persona, voy a hacer la prueba de la luz y de la cinta reflectiva y haré una actualización de la reseña.

Sehr schöner Schirm, mal ein etwas anderes Muster und sehr pastellig. Das wichtigste hierbei wäre zu erwähnen, dass eine Handschlaufe zum besseren Tragen am Schirm angebracht ist. Die Automatik funktioniert einwandfrei, ich hatte noch nie einen Schirm der auch automatisch auf Knopfdruck sich wieder schließt. Das ist schon recht praktisch, wenn die andere Hand ggf. besetzt ist und etwas trägt z. B. Ich würde den Schirm jeder Zeit wieder kaufen.

Loved the design - x2 bands of flourescent green - great wide shade (40inch) + 10Ribs for support. Rotating torch on handle. So why 4* ? 1. The hand grip is 4inch (yeah) but .. if you rotate the built in flashlight you loose 1.5inches into the curve to angle to the light forward ergo only a 2.5" night handle. **Note to use the flashlight, gentle unscrew the silver end disc. Ensure all 3 batteries are pointy side downwards into the shaft. Screw cap back on and flashlight works perfectly** 2. The quoted webpage weight of 400g is actually 470g (1.06lbs) which in the grand scheme of things is not much BUT when travelling every gram counts and at 13.2inch in length, I just couldn't "handle it" A strong wrist and arm is needed for this baby - happy to recommend for quality and design. Just note my pointers.
