Regarding the one star reviews mentioning image degradation and rainbows, I suspect these issues stem from not removing the protective plastic film on both sides of the filter. It’s easy to miss but crucial for optimal performance. Tip: Before use, carefully peel off the thin plastic film on both sides. Check under good light if unsure, to avoid any image issues. It took a bit of trial and error to get the rotation just right for maximum glare reduction, but once I did, the results were impressive. Overall, this filter is a great value and a must-have accessory for any dash cam user looking to improve their video quality. It won’t eliminate all reflections (e.g., from metal or in poor lighting), which might disappoint those with unrealistic expectations.

It's awesome, it's very easy to install and remove on the camera. strong light blocking effect. produces clear image. i like it. if i have chance i will recommend to my friends to choose this product. i keep five stars for this product.

Works great. No glare from the vehicle. Filter did the job. It has an adjustable ring and all it needed was a 1/4 turn and the picture was perfect.

Worked really well to cut down on windshield glare on the dashcam. Screwed on easily and adjusted easily. If you have a Vantrue that this would fit I highly recommend getting one.

It works great. Snapped it on with the sun directly on the windshield it took away the mirror image of the dash on the windshield and light glare. All I had to do is turn it 1/4 turn. It would be 5 stars but as other reviewers note it does fit loose and is too easy to turn. And….it should be included with the camera given the price is over $300 anyway.

This lens filter does exactly what it says on the tin. It reduces glare and reflection from the windshield and give you a nice clear image from your Vantrue camera. Super easy to install. It's a little pricey considering you already shelled out a pretty penny for the camera system, but it's one of those things you probably shouldn't NOT buy if you need to rely on recording clear, unobstructed video.
