Is it really doing anything? I honestly can't tell.
Okay, let’s start with what I do know. The laser therapy device comes in quite a nice zipped protective case and has the necessary charging cables, instructions and safety goggles. The instruction booklet is straight forward enough to follow and details a number of ailments and how to use the therapy device to ail them. The therapy device is a simple device, a clear display and a couple of operating buttons with a charging port underneath.Beyond those hard facts, I begin to struggle. I really don’t know what this device is doing, or should that be if it’s achieving anything. It was always going to be a difficult product to test, certainly in the month or so that I’ve had it. Our dog, a five year old border collie could Storm, is a clumsy oaf at the best of times and will often run into things at 20mph so it’s usually only a matter of time before she nursing a bruise or a strain. Typically, she’s been on her best behaviour and she’s been totally fine all month. Beyond acute issues, she fortunately doesn’t have any chronic issues that would be aided by a therapy device. And none that are likely to be made better inside of a month. As Storm can’t really communicate her own views on the device, other than looking at me with a “what the heck are you doing?” face, I tried the laser on myself. Other than seeing a red light being emitted I was hard pushed to tell what, if anything, it was doing. I’ve read up on these devices over the last couple of weeks and there appears at best only anecdotal evidence of these things making any difference.I had a similar experience about a year ago when I tested a sonic toothbrush on Storm. I also tried it on myself and have no clue if it did a single thing. That did nothing visually or audibly. At least this laser therapy device shines a light, but I still get the same vibes that I don’t know if it’s making any effect at all. I will keep it on standby for the next time Storm headbutts the bi-folds, which I’m sure is only minutes away, but at the moment I remain sceptical.

Not sure about this device.
I thought I would try this in anticipation of when my dog gets older, but in the meantime I have been trying it on myself as I suffer from arthritis as a lot of us do. I have been using it most nights for a couple of weeks now and I honestly have not noticed any improvement on my joints. I cannot comment on value as there is no published price at the of my review but other similar items are around £100 and I would not pay this price for this item.
