Matchaeologist - Meiko Premium Ceremonial Grade Matcha (.7 oz / 20 g)

I really enjoy this matcha. Meiko has no bitterness, it's full-bodied and provides a gradual energy boost that's subtler but just as effective as coffee. It is one of the best matches I've had (I even prefer it to Ippodo), and I genuinely like the taste. It has an underlying hint of umami, but it is great in a latte as well. I would definitely order this again. Matchaeologist is a solid brand.

I ordered this in place of a normal order from a local producer of matcha. Came recommended. Really enjoyed it! Definitely worth the price.

Tastes (or is it feels) powdery. The powdery feeling stays in my mouth. I’ve never experienced this with any matcha before. They have one more grade above this. Anyone know if it’s better?
