Compact double-folding rollator
I have a couple of other top-of-the-line rollators that are well-designed and manufactured to very high standards. But they are really expensive and not the easiest to take on airplanes. I needed a very compact and rugged unit that I can take on planes. This Helavo model fits my needs perfectly. It double folds into a compact size that can be gate checked (like a baby stroller) or stowed in an airplane closet. The rollator is easy to unfold, but requires some dexterity to set up (involving a pair of screws and cotter pins). Once set up, the rollator is sturdy and stable; adjustable handle heights; and intuitive to use. The only thing that needs some revision is the canvas storage bag that is supposed to expand into a carrying bag for the rollator. The expanded bag dimensions and design are inadequate for using it to check the rollator on a plane. For the price of the unit this is certainly no deal breaker, and I would happily buy a Helavo brand, TSA-compliant bag specifically made for airplane travel. This model is a tad over 18 pounds. It’s a bit heavy to be carrying up-and-down stairs; but as a rollator for traveling, the trade-off is more than acceptable. The rollator is delivered in a sturdy cardboard box with an instruction manual and two cards tacked to the inside flaps of the box. These are important cards: one for instructions to set up the rollator and the other for obtaining an extended 3-year warranty on the product. Be sure to apply for the extended warranty! It’s free. 12/31/23 - I ordered a Gonex 80L Foldable Travel bag (available on Amazon) as a transport bag for gate checking my Model F1010 rollator. I am experimenting with packing the rollator in a 28” suitcase — it takes about half the space in the suitcase and I can pack my clothes in the other half. That way I have fewer pieces of luggage to manage overall. 01/17/24 - One more accessory item that I ordered for traveling with my rollator is a TSA-approved "Medical Equipment" baggage tag (many different types offered on Amazon). This tag is useful for gate checked rollators in bags and instances where my rollator is packed in a 28" suitcase for checked luggage. No guarantee that airlines won't mishandle your stuff; but good visual reminder to handle with care.

Amazing Company! Quality products, true accessibility ⭐️
I am a 26 year old who has rheumatoid arthritis and a hyper mobility disorder, so mobility tools are key to my independence. I had a bunionectomy about 3 weeks ago, so I’ve been relying on tools more than usual. Before I received the Helavo Rollator, I was using a traditional knee scooter around the house. It was clunky and hard to maneuver in tight spaces. It was very difficult to turn 360 degrees, and I couldn’t sit on it or move things with it. PROS - Easy to follow instructions - all in one design; the rollator folds up into the bag it comes with for easy storage -360 movement - Easy braking - Wide seat - Versatile; functions as a knee scooter, walker, or seat - Thoughtfully designed, ergonomic - Easily adjustable - Comes with accessories like bag and cane holders! CONS -You may need help with assembly depending on your mobility level. My husband assembled it in 20 mins though! - Narrow doorways beware! I have baby gates in my home and the rollator didn’t quite clear them. You may need to use a disability friendly public restroom to take it in with you if you’re out and about. Helavo has produced a dynamic product that I am now using every day. I’m so happy to feel stable on my feet again 🌹

Awesome!
High quality well built and lightweight enough for me. I have heart failure and Need something light enough and easily folded to put in the trunk of my Civic. It will fit in even into a even smaller car if you have one!! We took it on a flight and cruise for our vacation. I love how easy it was to set up, the quality of the chair and wheels and it flooding down to a very small size make it ideal stowing just about anywhere! The handles are very easy to adjust up and down and the brakes are perfect. It stowed in the plane very easily folded down and fit in our cabin and all of the hallways! I researched about every walker even purchased another one that was Much heavier and about impossible to put on a plane! Super buy! Worth every penny!

Rolls nice and sturdy. Ships mostly assembled which a lot of others don’t.
This is a nice walker. I don’t bump my knee on the seat when I walk. I feel very comfortable and steady when I walk. I also like that it folds in half so easier to store or take on trips. I haven’t used it a lot yet because we had to order a part that did not come with the walker and the company was out of stock. We were able to find the part on Amazon and now I can have some fun with it.

I get around but can sit down
This is a great rollator. In short trips I just fold it up. For longer trips I have folded it down to the size that fits in the bag that was furnished with it. It is very comfortable to sit on. The frame is light weight so it is easy for a weak old guy to load in the car. It works well for walking and was adjustable to just the right height. My wife needs it more than me right now so I am thinking about a second one for me.

Lightweight, but Stable, Sturdy and Easily Assembled
This walker is delivered folded up in a cardboard box. I removed the walker from the box and my wife was using it less than 5 minutes later! It comes completely assembled, and only needs to be "unfolded" and the arms set at the proper height. This was extremely easy. The assembled walker is very sturdy, equipped with large wheels, and is easy to use and maneuver on an uneven surface like a brick driveway. In addition, it comes with a bag that can be used to carry the folded up walker when traveling. The bag is similar in size and weight to a 17" laptop bag. So, I believe it could easily be stored in the overhead bin of a commercial airliner. I haven't done this yet, but will try it out on our next commercial flight.

This rollator with seat arrived next day, thanks to Amazon Prime, and was well-packed and easy to assemble, following the clearly-pictured instructions. As part of my nine-month recovery from fracturing several vertebrae, I need to keep active, with hard surface walking. I wear a back brace, which enables me to be seated pain-free and it also reduces the pain when standing or walking. However, I can suddenly get a pain spasm in back and legs and need to sit down urgently. I can walk unaided, but have been advised to normally use walking poles for better posture. I was so excited to try the product, that I loaded the bag with a bottle of water and a folded walking stick. (This one has a four-point base and it seemed better to fold it and stow it rather than use either of the two very useful walking stick holders, which have tape loops and a base cup.) My walk started on very uneven badly pot-holed road, which was tricky. Once on a better tarmac or concrete surface, I was amazed at how the walking position gave me excellent posture. I had deliberately chosen a model where one does not need to hold off the brakes in normal use. The toe tabs were easy to use, to lever the rollator over a kerb, and brakes were easy to apply when necessary. When I wanted to sit down, a full depression of each brake lever locked the brakes effectively. To stand up again was easy, as the seat was not padded, although very comfortable in use. The back support is excellent. The final part of the journey back home was uphill and again on rough ground, which was not easy. I was glad to have chosen a lightweight aluminium alloy model. The walk of about one mile, (5,000 steps) on mainly level road or multi-purpose path (wide, solid surface, designed for walking, wheel-chairs or buggy/stroller use) took me about one hour. Indoors, a quick tug upwards of the handle in the middle of the seat brought the two sides closer together, to take up less room. In summary, this is a 'game-changer' for me, and overcomes my anxiety about trying to go for a walk in my current condition and not being near a seat when I suddenly needed to sit down. I have shrunk in recent years to a height of about 5ft 10in, and, at their highest setting, the handles were in line with my wrists, with arms dangled, which the manual states is a correct position, which was indeed just right for good posture when walking. The seat height is not adjustable, but was perfectly satisfactory. Although I can walk unaided, I feel sure that it would work very effectively as a walking aid. I feel that I chose well, deliberately avoiding those cheaper models designed only for indoor use. The distinctive red colour looks impressive and helps to warn others. Every bit of the design and construction is excellent and really good value for £126.99
