Are these the same as the sunshine brand?

The Sunshine brand used raisins, as I remember. Garibaldi uses currents, a bit different but tasty. Raisins are sweeter in my opinion and I loved them. Crawford’s have a dryer texture but still addictive.

Is this product fresh. Ordered from other company and was so stale

The Garibaldi Biscuits I recently received have an expiration date of July 2017, and I received them in September 2016. That's a long shelf life. Perhaps by the phrase "so stale", you may be referring to the crumbly nature of these biscuits. The biscuit part is a little thicker, and a little more crumbly than the old "Sunshine Raisin Biscuits" that were discontinued long ago. If by "stale" you mean crumbly, yes they are. I suggest eating them over a paper plate or over a sink - definitely NOT on the couch without a plate underneath.

how many biscuits per package?

The 100g package is 2 strips of 5 biscuits each or 10 biscuits per 100g package. The case of 12 100g packages is the best deal due to shipping. Besides it is not that much really.

What does the nutrition label indicate?

Not too sweet!

Ate these in 60’s as a kid. Just like I remembered.Seem like a good snack compared to everything else these days that is loaded with sugar. Not too sweet just natural thin fig filling between crackers.
