This is the perfect pan for making our own fresh milled sandwich bread.

Don't usually write reviews, but these stainless steel loaf pans are absolutely fantastic for baking bread. I started baking our own sandwich bread in order to avoid all the chemicals in the store bought bread. I also decided to avoid aluminum and non-stick pans for health reasons. I was afraid the loaves would stick. I butter the pans and they slide out perfectly every time. I couldn't be happier with this purchase and the price is unbeatable!

The media could not be loaded. I use these pans twice a week to bake einkorn sourdough bread. They are sturdy and very easy to clean! Well constructed with no sharp edges. They still look new 20 loaves later.

Oct 2024 update: I love these pans! I now have 4 and will be getting some to give as as gifts. They clean up easily and most times can just be wiped out with a paper towel or damp rag immediately after dumping out the bread. I use butter to grease mine, but you could probably use whatever fat you keep on hand. Although I’ve found that solid fats work better to release food.They can also be used for coatings for fish or chicken: put beaten eggs in one & flour or other coating in the other. The length & depth is great for containing the coatings as well as long strips of meat or fish. (Less messy than a plate)As someone else wrote, this is the closest to the typical glass loaf pans in size and shape. My glass pans will not nest in it, but it can nest in them. It bakes just as well. I’ve been baking a loaf in this and a loaf in the glass at the same time. The baking time and browning of bread are the same. And using butter to grease the pans, the loaves just fall right out- I don’t have to loosen with a knife or spatula or anythIng. After dumping baked loaf out, I just wipe out the inside with a paper towel and it’s ready to grease for the next loaf.I’ll be gradually (due to cost) replacing all my loaf pans with these.

These are a little smaller than my previous bread pans so baking takes slightly longer. Quality is very good.
