Neat Solutions Table Topper Disposable Stick-on Placemats in Reusable Package, Gender Neutral, 12" x 18", 20 Count

I got some of these as a baby shower gift and I am glad I did. They are sure handy and I would have never thought I would need them. They are a staple in our diaper bag. Our now 10 month old has been using them for several months now when we go out to eat. At first, it was used just as a barrier on the restaurant table for her puffs and toys. Now that she's eating more finger foods, we use it to break up pieces of food we order at the restaurant for her.I like that is had the sticking backing on all four sides (completely lined on all sides) to keep it secured in place. I usually have to secure it on the table before we set our daughter in front of it, otherwise she will grab at it and then it becomes impossible to place. :) But once its in place, about 90% of the time she doesn't even bother with it. Plus at the end of our meal, it makes for easy clean up and I just pull it up along with any residual food.Another tip for when you use these is to place it so that a little bit of the mat extends over the edge of the table. That way you can wrap it around the edge and have it stick to the underside of the table. Several times we have caught our then 9 month old daughter biting the edge of the table (yuck!) so its nice to have this plastic barrier because I doubt the edges and especially the underside get cleaned.

These table toppers look decent (they don't feel 'branded' like most others), and they stick on pretty well (until your child learns how to peel them away from the corners).Getting them onto the table is a little bit of an ordeal, since there are four long strips of adhesive backing you need to remove, while trying to stick the thing down, usually while holding or managing a fussy toddler. I don't know of any other way of doing it, but it would be awesome if someone had a simpler method of adhesion for these plastic placemats.Unlike our rubber suction-cup placemat, these are very easy to clean up; you just fold them up and toss them in the trash. They also don't leave any residue (assuming you don't leave them in place for more than an hour or two), and they make me feel better about putting food on restaurant tables.

These are perfect for restaurants. There is a strip of adhesive on all 4 sides (you peel of the plastic to reveal the sticky) and stays in place. Someone else had recommended attaching the part closest to your child under the table which I completely agree with so they don't find a little edge to grab and try to pull. The adhesive is quite strong so its difficult for children to pull off but also sometimes leaves a residue behind so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a nice, wooden table but for a standard restaurant table its fine... For a pack of 20 it runs about $.50 per mat so I try to use them twice before tossing.

These work really well. Obviously your kid is going to be able to peel them up from the table, but hopefully the food will keep them distracted. My 14 month old likes to eat off of the table or a tray, if we do a plate it will just end up on the floor. So these are great for when we go to restaurants. And to be honest if you just don't feel like wiping down the high chair tray, stick one of these on your table and scoot your kid up to the table. Super duper easy clean up. I always make sure I have a few of these in the diaper bag. They don't take up any space, and it's better than trying to wipe down a restaurant table before eating.

These place mats stick easily and obviously keep the 'gross' off of babies' food. My daughter, however, is a very determined little girl and likes to peel it off of the table at almost every meal. At 10 months old she peeled it off in no time. I still use them, I just have to be prepared for her quick fingers. If you don't mind re-sticking the mat or if you have a child who understands 'no, don't take it off of the table' these will be great for you. One other minimal issue is that the colors and pictures of the place mats are so bright and distracting that the little bites of food tend to blend in making them difficult to see.

These are so helpful! I love that they are easy to put in my purse and then whip out when we are out. I hate thinking about all the germs that might be on the table and I feel badly for service staff who have to clean up baby messes, so these are wonderful! I can put baby's food right on it and not worry. My daughter is entertained a bit with the colors and characters on these as well, which helps pass the time. When it's time to go, I just lift the mat up and we're done. Makes it a lot easier to pick up any stray food, so wait staff don't have to deal with it.

We love these placemats! They are so colorful and stick to every surface we have used them on so far (including a wooden picnic table). Love how there is adhesive on all four sides, that is so much better than the ones that only have it on two sides. My son has been good so far about trying to remove it once it is down, and I think it is because we are able to stick all four sides to the table. Very happy with these placemats!Update:We are still using this brand placemat two years later. Our older son no longer needs them but our baby is at the age where he needs them. I have tried other brands in between, and these are still my favorites! The best part is still the four sides of sticky tape.

I am absolutely addicted to these! I bought them for a trip but I now like to use them whenever we go out to eat. My 12 month old loves to eat - but she has to feed herself so these are absolutely necessary. I can put the food right on these and she can grab it from there. They stick well to pretty much every surface. And the tape coverings remove easily. Hubby and I can get one on the table in under 30 seconds. We have gotten a lot of compliments on these, too, apparently no one knew these existed!So easy to cleanup when you leave, too!!!

These mats took a long time to arrive direct from Japan. They're fairly sturdy and adhere to table surfaces satisfactorily but - since they're 'once only use' - they're not as affordable as similar products we've experienced in the USA.

Wonderful placemats

We had problems find placemats that our daughter couldnt rip off and these are perfect and do the job great. The only minor point being that the mats are quite thin so can easily tear.

These table toppers are so handy in restaurants and public places. We use them held down with our crab chair so there are no issues with baby pulling them off.
