Great little pump/Very powerful! Moves LOTS of water!
UPDATE: I finally had time to install my mister system on my deck. This pump is really powerful at its highest setting. I had to run it down to its lowest setting in order to not get totally drenched on my deck! It rapidly pulsates on and off at this setting, but still pumps an amazing amount of water through the system., The pump does jump around a bit at this lowest setting due to the pulsating, but it wouldn't be hard to bolt it down to a board or some other large base. I noted originally that it seemed to run hot, but that's not the case with lots of water running through it. It hasn't shut down on me yet.Obviously, this is not the intended purpose for this pump, so everything I've said is for a system that it really wasn't designed for. I still give it a full five stars because it really is a great pump! I'm very pleased with my purchase, but if I had known how well this pump works, I probably would have looked for a pump with less pressure output to suit my system.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this pump so that I could build up a water mister system for my deck. I don't have a hose bib anywhere near my deck, so I decided to try to use a pump. I also bought a mister hose system from Amazon.Because the mister system is 1/4" tubing and the jets are very small, I had to run the pump pressure up to its maximum setting to avoid the pump pulsating, but it works! I was not expecting just how much water this system uses, but if it were hooked up to a hose, it would use the same amount, you just wouldn't notice it as much. I've only had a chance so far to run about 3 quarts through it at a time and it seems to use this up in less than 5 minutes, so I'll need at least a 5 gallon bucket to make this work, and maybe more than one. This pump is fairly quiet and is built very well. The base has rubber feet on it and it doesn't seem to move at all while it's running. I'm not expecting any issues with it but it does seem to run hot while pumping. If it overheats, it's supposed to shut itself down, so I guess I'll wait and see. And it will run with no issues even if there is no water supply, just like the instructions say. It immediately pulls a vacuum on the intake line once submerged in water, so there is no priming needed. If I encounter any problems once I get the system fully installed, I'll update my review, but for now, 5 stars for sure!!

Broken less then a month
We ordered this April 30th and it stopped working yesterday May 28th! Not even a month and it’s overheating! Worked great when it was working but now it’s not!

dependability
This is a great unit. Unlike other like item it has actual water hose inlet and out let so they will not break as easily like the other name brands.

Good pump. Seems well made. Kind of heavy. Does get a little hot.
I like this pump. It's good. I use it to suck water out of my pond periodically for water changes. I attach a sprinkler head to a hose and water the lawn with it. So it is strong enough to run a sprinkler but not strong enough to run 2 at a time. When running it can get a bit hot but has not been an issue for my application. It is self priming up to a few feet. It has some attachments that did help me out a bit. It has a screen filter to protect the intake. It's not really loud at all. Just sort of makes a buzzing/ humming sound. The PSI is decent which is why I bought it. Strong enough to run a hose off of it. Probably a shower head if that is what you wanted to do. Or a sink. This of course is not a sump pump and you don't want to get it wet. It sits outside of the water not in the water. But it would be ok for camping/rv uses where you need to draw water out of a river and apply some pressure to it. Have had it a few months and use it about once a week. No issues with it. If you want to adjust the pressure you can but I have found that moving the screw doesn't seem to really make much difference. It has OK pressure but not as good as your house would provide on a spigot. Decently strong only. Good price. Would buy again.

Best bang for buck, just bought another.
I do commercial pressure washing and use this pump for spraying wash chemicals. I did not use this pump a ton but when I did it was put to the test. Bleach, acids, degreasers, you name it. It took it all for over a year until today the pump fell apart internally while on a job. Just ordered a 2nd one. After each use I would flush with water but did forget a few times. I think for the usage I got, it was a fair price to pay. Just keep more than one battery, it'll run through a standard deep cycle in 3-4hrs.

Seems ok.
The manual doesn't tell you what the hex wrench is for and where to use it. There is a little cover held on with one screw. Remove that and find a small allen screw. To lower pressure turn to the left. How far? I don't know they don't say, but if you turn enough it will come out, I guess it won't hurt anything.
