Best Sock/Shows For the Money
I have purchased several brands of “walking socks”. Skinners in by far the highest quality, best fitting and most durable of all offered. If you suffer from foot pain specifically Planter Fasciitis these sock/shoes are the very best. Also they are very durable.

First was great, this new one better
Gave the first incarnation of Skinners 5 stars. They deserve it, the most uncompromising minimalist shoe I know [the official term is 'barefoot', but I dislike oxymorons, 'minimalist' more fitting], making all the competition less-than-minimalist. I'm hardcore, often going foot-naked if not entering a public facility, and down [walking/running] to ~ 25 degrees. Stopped wearing narrow toe-boxes in 1983, elevated heels [including running shoes] in 1994. This new version claimed numerous improvements: I trusted some of them, but was wary of compromise given the new insole; I don't fault them for the choice, these barefoot companies repeatedly thicken the outsole and/or add/thicken an insole, for example, in response to feedback on the initial design... situation is generally compromise or fail, otherwise they're running a charity. Sole Runners, e.g., adjusted by offering normal, 'wide' [still narrow], and 'extra-wide' [i.e., foot-shaped]. So I bought this new one - instantly disapproved, because of the insole and... because it felt different from the first. That initial feel-disapproval faded quick enough; the larger toe-box is appreciated. As for the insole, it is removeable [knew that], and, UNlike other 'barefoot' shoes like Vivo or Sole-runners, removing the Skinners insoles does not compromise the fit. The fact that the insole a] tightens the fit a bit, and b] buffers the ground-interaction a touch, makes it a better nature or athletic shoe where tighter fit and increased ground-insulation are desirable. I wear it day-to-day insoleless. Therefore, these new Skinners are an all-terrain vehicle. Like the 2-tone-blending more too. That I'm Czech, like the shoes, is a happy bonus. Five-stars-PLUS.

Perfect except for one detail
These are really comfy they clean easy they're durable it's everything it says on the box except for one issue and that's the toe box it's really tight if they ever make a 3.0 they just need to make the toe box wider and it'd be perfect.

Very durable shoes
I have been wearing minimalist shoes for many years now, and so these looked very compelling. However, I was concerned that these wouldn't last as long as my New Year's resolutions. I have been wearing them on all my walks (some as long as 5 miles) with my dog which includes a lot of sidewalks and a little bit of trails. The shoes are super-comfortable and the bottom is showing only a little bit of wear. I suspect that they will eventually develop holes, but they've been surprisingly resilient to my many miles of walking. I am happy I got them and plan to get replacements when it's time to do so. My kids won't let me wear them in social situations because they say I look more weird than usual, but walks with my dog are fair game. I think they are awesome.

Not for small feet
They seemed great, sadly even the XXS was too big with about an inch between my toes and the end of the sock/shoe. I wear a size 6.5 women's.

Amazing for outside and errands
Love throwing these on going for walks or errands. Comfortable and can step on rocks without hurting my feet. Going to try them the next time I go hiking or to the beach. I love these when I don't want shoes or slides. I feel these are high quality and will last a while. Comes with a bag to store or travel with as well

Issue is less with shoes more with the company
The shoes seem decently made but the sizing info from their own website is terrible. I normally wear 9.5 or 10 in shoes and according to their chart and their advice to order one size down, I got mediums. They fit well in the heel and sides but there's almost an inch of space between my toes and the toe box. Since this isn't sold and shipped by Amazon, you're stuck with the seller's return policy which means paying shipping back to the Czech Republic AND an additional restock fee. I'm keeping these simply because exchanging them for a better fitting size is just too much of a pain in the ass.

Great but throw away the insole.
They are great, but I would advise throwing away the included insoles. It felt uncomfortable until I removed it. It is better without.
