Easy to install.

Its almost a Alpine... All Most.
As I have owned nothing but Alpine since 1984 this was a interesting purchase. If you like setting the bass and treble for nearly every song, you are going to hate this receiver... But here is the good. The volume is like a modern car stereo so you don't blow speakers easily, it doesn't have a filter like some, but limits it to a tolerable distortion level at max volume. Its sound quality is poor at low volume, like when talking to someone, but from 1/4 to 3/4 it absolutely has outstanding clarity and quality for when you are driving. It gets a little fluttery when pushing it hard, but definitely does a decent job. Yes a Alpine will beat it for sound quality at max volume, but do you listen to everything at max? Its loud, clean, and with a handful of bass frequencies and treble adjustments it sounds just as good as any Alpine. It just doesn't at low and max volume. I would buy again for the price, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent quality head unit at a cheap price.

Great CD/Radio player
Has functions I won't use but it is a great sounding radio and cd player. Easy to hookup. Easy to read instructions only wish I could change the default color from blue to green. It is a great value for the money

Works great in Jeep TJ (top up)
Bought for my Jeep TJ with soft top. Great sound quality and you can use your as speaker and mic for hands free driving. There is a little echo on the other end but for the price absolutely worth it.

Decent single din radio
Great little radio. Have installed in many different vehicles, currently just put one in my wife’s car. Simple to use and install

Unable to program
Don’t waste your money on this, there are so many much better radios to choose from. First the On/Off button doesn’t work, second it is impossible to program, because none of the other buttons work. I ended up putting it where it belongs, in the trash.Stay away from JVC.
