Chef's Select White Sugar Crystals 14oz - Value Size

I bought this per my wife's request. She decribed what she wanted and i found it. I cannot compare this to another product as i dont even use this, but i do consume it and I'm happy to do that. I have labled this as NOT salt because it is not salt, but my wife feared she may confuse it one day with large kosher salt? I just do what im told, the label is more than adequate and accurate. If buying this again will give me more baked goods, I'll be back for more.

I bought these hoping they'd give that crunch that I get when buying muffins from a store or bakery. I was NOT disappointed. (See picture). I made box-mix blueberry muffins, and sprinkled this on top of the wet batter in the muffin tin. The sugar doesn't dissolve or melt into the batter. Rather, the large sugar crystals survive the baking heat and result in a top layer of sugary crunchiness. Yummy!!!

I like the eye appeal this course sugar adds.These course bits of sugar glisten in the light much better than regular table sugar.I have used it on Sugar and Peanut Butter Cookies.This sugar held up just fine while baking.This sugar can be used on a multitude of items.

Hard to find these big sugar crystals in the store. I like to add sugar crunch on top of pies and muffins and these are nice and big and wonderful.

I was originally disappointed in the dullness of these sugar crystals. I decided to use them at the house for our baking. I sprinkled some on blueberry muffins one morning and put in the oven to cook. What they lack in shininess, they more than make up for in taste! They have an amazing crunch! If they were shiny, I would give a 5 star review. I did go from 1 star to 4 stars though. I will certainly buy these again!See my original review below:I normally buy Sprinkles or Wilton. Love them both. Very shiny and reflective. In the interest of saving money I ordered these. So disappointed! They look white. No color brilliance at all! I thought, no problem, I will return them. I guess not! They are non-returnable. With it being edible I can see that. No worries. I will never buy them again though.

We use these to top muffins but they'd be good on cookies and many other things. Good price

This is great to mix with oil and use to exfoliate your body. I use it in the shower and wash off after.

I like it to top my muffins. Does great.
