Product is excellent in noise reduction, thermal reductions, and it’s easy to work with. It is aluminum backed so when cutting you can create sharp edges, just be mindful of that. The adhesive side is great as it sticks well but is also forgiving if you need to adjust. Very pleased with the results.

this stuff is great, the price hikes SUCK, if the price goes up much more it will be time to switch brands again, MULTIPLE installations and ZERO issues, works better than you would expect, sticks and holds better than dynamat, seals up TIGHT, works well in sub enclosures as well as doors, roofs, trunks floors, puts more fun in driving and removes noise fatigue for a much more comfortable drive if you have complaints about the product then you did NOT prep your surface

Good quality stuff, at first I was very skeptical, but after installing the material the panels are hard as a rock no more rattles or panel flex. My muffler and exhaust system was flexing and rattling and I had cracked my previous muffler but after this it silenced everything. The bass funnels into the cabin more. The mat stuck on easily but it did have a slight tar smell hopefully it doesn’t get worse when it’s gets hot. 36 sq feet was enough to do 2 layers on my trunk lid and to do the trunk. It is a nice flexible material and I had no issues getting it to bond to the contours of my trunk.

This product is very easy to work with. You can easily cut it to fit any location. The glue grabs nicely. I used it in a cargo van and was very pleased with the results.

I installed Kilmat in my Toyota Camry SE; which as any Toyota Camry owner can tell you the road noise is quite loud. I did the entire trunk, and all of the doors, including the inside of the skin of the door, and the door panel itself. I will say this product is fantastic at blocking noise and deadening sound vibrations. Installation is easy and definately get the rollers (espeically the small one) as they make a huge difference. My aftermarket stereo really came to life after applying Kilmat generously on the doors; the bass came to life and the nuances in the music could now be heard. The Camry is much quieter now and the doors have that quality thump when you shut them. the outside noise is now at a minimum; and you can tell you are sitting in a quiet car. The nice thing is that you do not have to blast the music to "hear" the nuances; which is great for my daughters ears. I found most reviews here say that there is no smell; this in my experience is completely untrue. Perhaps there may be an off-gas period that needs to happen, but the inside of my Camry smells like tar or perhaps a glue smell. However, the smell is not repulsive or strong, but definitely present; it's like someone farted in the seat and you sat in the seat and got that whif.... opening the windows relieves the strength of the smell for a bit. I left the windows open today to deal with the smell; and I did the trunk a few days ago and it still smells. I have read that Kilmat is not asphalt based, which is great, but beware that after applying you may smell it for a while. To be fair, it has only been a few days since applying, so I will update this review when the smell disappears as I expect that it will. I would and will continue to purchase this product as the value of what this does for the price is great. I plan on doing my 4Runner next.

Amazing quality. Wanted to reduce the outside road noise, add a better sound to the existing car audio all while adding a more solid sound when shutting the door. This done all 3 with ease. So easy to install.

I did not see that 3.4 m2 was 36 ft2, so I ordered 3 boxes...other then my own mistake it works great! My doors close more solidly and my sound system sounds so much better now
