Save a ton of $$ by buying these replacement filters rather than OEM. Instant brand replacement filters give you, as of the time of this writing, 2pcs (you need 2 pieces with each filter change) for $7.99. I purchased the 30-pack here (30pcs=15 filter changes), for $13.99. Not for nothing folks, but this is a savings of $105.86 over the cost of Instant brand replacements! I get it--for some things, for many things, it's advisable to go with OEM parts to replace consumables like this, but in this case, these filters are simple and most all of them are made of the same woven poly material, so there's no need whatsoever to drop $7.99 on each filter change for this awesome air fryer. Save your money and buy these! Tip: I purchase a sheet of activated charcoal filtration media similar to this one but thinner https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PYDT9KR and cut it to match the size of these; then, I use only ONE of these with each filter change and include a charcoal filter. This does a MUCH better job of filtering odors. This doesn't necessarily get me twice the usage out of a 30-pack though, since I change the filter twice as often because with only one piece of this media in the air fryer, it gets gummed up with grease and what-not twice as quickly.

I bought these and put the first one in on April 13th. I did not have to replace it until June 28th. We use our air fryer at least once a day sometimes twice a day. I also baked four whole chickens in our air fryer during this period. I do use two to be the right thickness. I would absolutely buy these again I think that 2 and 1/2 months with as much as we cook is pretty impressive and they were fairly dirty when I pulled them out which means that they are catching grease and other by-product.

I liked that it was a pack of 10, as they will last me a long time. I do use two of them in the Instant Vortex Plus air fryer. Sometimes I feel the air fryer change filter light comes on too early when I haven’t even used it much. When that happens I just press and hold that large silver button for the red indicator light to go out, that way I don’t have to change the filters too often and pressing that button resets the air fryer.I’ve tried washing the filters but I find they are still a bit greasy and smelly so I don’t bother anymore, I just put new filters in.In 6 mths I’ve only used two filters out of 10, and I use the air fryer a lot - so it’s a great buy!
