So far good experience with this tape, I purchased September 2024 . It’s strong, sticks well, and is pretty easy to work with. The stickiness is impressive, I’ve even used it as a double-sided tape for lighter items, like sticking things to the wall or securing small objects together. It’s definitely functional beyond just its main purpose.I haven’t had to remove the tape yet, so I can’t say how cleanly it comes off, but when that time comes I will update. I usually wait a couple of months before reviewing to ensure long-term performance. I’ll update if anything changes!

We needed to secure a rug to carpet. This did the trick! It was easy to use and seems secure.

I have two area rugs that travel more than me. We are talking major trip and fall hazards. These were replacement rugs that were purchased to replace two other nonskid rugs that were not safe. I tried the nonskid pads under the rugs, which were useless. I saw this on Amazon and ordered it. My husband reported good luck with it on job sites. I cut 2-3 inch squares for all four corners. I used scissors, but the tape stuck to the scissors. An box cutter blade was only slightly better, but the adhesive comes off the cutting surfaces with Goof Off. This stuff is strong and immediately stuck my nonskid area rug to textured luxury vinyl flooring. It appears to be holding well. I have no idea how it will come up, but other reviewers indicate it is not a problem to take the rug up and does not leave residue?!?! I will try and add to my review if there are problems with this tape, but I am very optimistic!****Back to update review (12/16/24) this tape provided death grip on our area rugs with a nonskid back...I was able to reposition one of my little entry rugs; on the second rug the tape pulled the rug fibers thru the back of the nonskid rug, essentially killing it in that spot. I just have to be prepared for the death of the first rug when I go to move it for cleaning or repositioning. I am still impressed with this tape, it held the rug securely and didn't leave residue on the floor. I will now look for a small entry rug without the non-skid feature or a HEAVY entryway matt that will not travel. The area rugs have to be very low so the door can pass over them.

I slip on rugs easy and I just moved somewhere that I needed a lot of area rugs. After a lot of research I went with this and it works AMAZING. I ended up having to take it off all my rugs because it was too hard to clean under them.I was pleasantly surprised how easy the tape came up all the way. I was worried about having to removed all the sticky residue.While it didn’t work for me personally it works great overall!

Nice product, looks exactly as shown. I’m glad I bought this one because they say it is removable. I haven’t tried it yet, but it has good reviews. Decent price and I always like a good value.

I purchased this for carpet stair treads to keep them from moving. They will not move unless you want them too. They stick so hard it took some skin off my fingertips ( I have weird sensitive skin, a non-weirdo would probably be fine.) Better to have a couple sore fingertips than being a human beach ball rolling down. Don’t put strips on the back of your hand, my husband did this cutting several strips at once, and he yelled like he was getting bikini wax.

Taped down rubber mat on carpet in a room where my dog sleeps. I was tired of adjusted the mats because of constant movement. The mat has not moved at all since using this strong carpet tape.

We used this to tape an oriental rug to our carpeted floor. It works great. We laid strips of the tape across our carpet then laid the rug down. It has stayed for 6 months and hasn't moved at all. We even lightly shampooed the area rug and dried it completely and the rug remained adhered. Great double sided tape.
