Very impressive
I love it. Incredible sound and solid build quality. Battery life is outstanding. The only the issue I am facing is little bit stuttering noise due to unstable connections when connected to my laptop. With my iphone, I don’t face this issue. Overall a very satisfied with my purchase. You might feel little bit heat buildup around you ear since the surface contact of the headphone pads to the ears is little bit wide but very comfortable to wear it as the padding is excellent. So for indoor usage its fine; wouldn’t recommend for workouts.

Better than I thought
I currently own the Sennheiser Momentum 3 (M3) headphones, but I need an additional pair to replace my old, reliable Momentum 2 (M2), which unfortunately has a battery issue. Even after replacing the battery, the M2 still doesn’t work wirelessly. Initially, I thought there wasn’t much difference between the M3 and the Momentum 4 (M4) in terms of sound quality, as both have the same 42mm driver. However, after switching the Bluetooth codec to aptX Adaptive, which supports high bitrate, I noticed a significant improvement in sound quality while listening to music on YouTube. Despite YouTube not being the best audio source, the sound became clearer with resonant bass. Although I’m not an expert, I really enjoy the sound, making the M4 a worthwhile upgrade from the M3. The M4 boasts a 60-hour battery life, a touchpad, increased comfort, significantly improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), and support for aptX Adaptive, which is comparable to Sony’s LDAC codec. On the other hand, my Sony WH-1000XM3 and XM4 support LDAC but don’t deliver the same high-quality sound. We appreciate Sony for its ANC and comfort, but not for its sound quality. In our opinion, the Bose QuietComfort 35 and the new QuietComfort models offer better sound quality than Sony, though they lack the bass presence of the M3 and M4. If we were to consider another pair of headphones, we would likely choose the Bose QC Ultra due to its support for aptX Adaptive. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference. I prefer Sennheiser for its sound quality, while my wife prefers Bose for its comfort and superior ANC. It’s fortunate that we don’t prefer the same headphones!

Great headphones, but the app ruins the audio quality
The audio quality of these headphones are great right out of the box, didn't even have to tweak with the EQ much just toned down the treble. My only issue is that the Sennheiser app degrades the audio quality for some reason and I did not know this. So at first the audio quality was really bad, it was as if I was listening music through 30 dollar headphones. I tried messing with every setting know to man and nothing seemed fix the bad quality, it was to the point where I had regretted buying the headphones and was thinking of selling them. Finally, I saw someone online mention that deleting the Sennheiser app helps increase audio quality of the headphones. The second I did that the audio quality was so much better and clear. So if you're reading this and are planning to get these headphones, just keep in mind about the app, if the headphones don't sound good just delete the app. I would give this a five star, but the debacle I faced makes me remove a star, otherwise they're great, very comfy and good for long listening sessions.

Not for PC use, terrible product
I used Sennheiser 350bt for over 5 years, very happy with the headset, plastic components started breaking and I decided to go for Momentum 4. What a disappointment! I use momentum 4 on a PC and the experience is terrible. That touch control panel on the side has a mind of its own, every time I lean in my chair it goes in to mute, Teams and Whatsapp keep crashing whenever I use the headset, the headset switches off randomly and crashes the bluetooth on the PC. Keep loosing Bluetooth connection in areas of the house where 350bt were working without any issue, no Windows application ... Terrible , last pair of Sennheisers that I ever buy, zero stars.

A brilliant pair of headphones that offer great value
This is a very capable pair of headphones, and one that provide excellent value. The battery life is simply unmatched and the sonic representation is fantastic, with a wide and expansive soundstage. The only slight downsides are the noise cancelling, which could be better, and the depth of the earcups - they are a bit shallow. It would be good to see these two improved upon in the next iteration of the Momentum.

Best in class in terms of rich, wide range sound and immersive bass.
Picked up these headphones and was super excited as i had tried the xm5 and whilst the ANC was great in that headphone Vs the Momentum, the overall sound was muddy. In this the music and sound is much much better, mic/ anc are decent enough for me. The reason why i returned is that Sennheiser needs to address their quality control issues. From the first listen, there was an audible imbalance in the sound. Left ear has more volume Vs right ear, had to adjust the ear balance speaker on my android to make it left bias to counter the imbalance. very annoying. realized when i checked online, it is an issue with a lot of Sennheiser headphones and apparently the latest firmware doesn't help much either. Felt very bad to return these as i LOVED the sound of these headphones apart from the imbalance. Only hope they address their qc issues.

Sony Bose tried all this is the best

A premium product, well-priced. GREAT sound, comfort, battery life. That said, I am finding a few things to quibble about. 1) It's having difficulty connecting automatically to my PC running windows. No probs with the Momentum 2, but the 4 needs me to stick handle it manually on both sides, PC & headset. It shouldn't need that. 2) It should have no problem connecting to two PCs. It won't. My Momentum 2 will connect to PC + phone or two PCs, no problem. The shiny new Momentum 4: not so much. WTF? 3) The tension on the bridge - the curved upper part - doesn't seem to be adjustable. Neither was the Momentum 2, strictly speaking, but it turns out it was steel & in desperation I was able to spread it open hard, reducing pressure between the cups. I've read the bridge on the Momentum 4 is plastic, can't be forced. Not sure if this is true; I'll dig further before I risk breaking them. This is a big deal: I have a medical problem going on in my temples, and find the fairly stiff pressure of the Momentum 4 ear cups to be unpleasant. Certainly not something I can wear for hours. Grrr. OK, that's the bad & the ugly. Here's the good: aside from pressure probs just discussed, the cups are more comfortable on my ears. The headset has cushioning under the bridge that works: it's more comfortable there than the Momentum 2, for which I had to purchase a cushioning cover to reduce pressure on the center of my skull. The finger-driven functions invoked on the outside of the right-hand cup work well & do more than was offered by the Momentum 2. And if anything it's a prettier device. The Momentum 4 is also more comfortable than Sony's WH1000XM5. I find sound quality similar; noise cancellation similar too. Best part saved for last: When my Momentum 2 died earlier this year I called Customer Service. The device was a year PAST the warranty coverage, something I admitted up front. Asked could they quote me cost of service, if they could repair it. They suggested I send it in for a quote. Did so. They replaced it entirely with another (I'm sure its a refurb, or they replaced parts on mine & returned it). Came back looking & working as new. NO CHARGE. For a device a year past warranty? I was happy to pay for repair. Instead they've won my loyalty, my next purchase (the one you're looking at now) and I've raved about their approach to other people, and online. Years ago during a career in IT management & then consulting, I learned that a good device with superb service & support is ALWAYS better than the best device with none. My Sony WH1000XM5 headphones - just out of warranty - are now on the fritz & Sony doesn't want to hear from me. I can buy parts online or take it to a service firm which can probably fix it, but the experience is entirely different from my experience with Sennheiser. When I ran into that issue with Sony, I bought the Momentum 4. I won't be trying Bose in future, and won't bother with another Sony. My advice? Buy the Sennheiser. Or whatever you find most comfortable. Whatever you buy, get an extended warranty, either from the manufacturer or from Amazon. Amazon's warranty fulfillment is trouble-free & priced fairly. These things seem to die after a year or two. Or count on buying parts from Amazon & fixing it yourself if you're up for it.
