We have had the chair alarm for about 1 month. It has worked very well and provided much peace of mind. Highly recommend it.We have a heavy, husk-filled pillow also on the chair, to keep her from leaning to the side. One time she got off the chair seat, but the pillow was on the alarm pad, so the alarm did not go off. This is NOT a flaw of the alarm system; I share this as a tip for users.

UPDATE: Seller/manufacturer Lundberg contacted me to offer refund on replacement chair pad. If any of your units malfunction after the Amazon return date, I suggest you contact Lundberg for help.Used in recliner seat, duct taped to seat to prevent sliding when chair is reclined. Have had to replace every 6 months with daily use. (Bed pad is durable and still works after 13 months.)The alarm system is great because my 95 yr old mom is at high risk of falls but usually can't remember--or doesn't think she needs--to use a manual call button.

Helps to ensure my husband is safe. Alarm has 3 levels of noise. Adjustment is a good idea. Battery lasts a long time

Love that it linked easily to the bed alarm and that I could unzip the seat cover to my mother’s recliner and you would never know it was there. Besides the fact that it allows me to move around without worrying that my 98 yr old mother will trip over oxygen tubing.

My husband has recently had some dementia issues. We have outside chores which need to be done, so this alarm alerts me if he gets out of his chair. Also have the bed alarm These with a baby/monitor camera are very effective in knowing what is going on.

This works like a charm, you carry the remote in your pocket and it notifies you when the person gets off the sensor. It is great and well worth the money.
