As others have said, this is a lightweight blanket - very lightweight. I bought this because my husband complained that our current blanket on our king-sized bed looked like a hospital blanket, so this goes over that. It looks great with our platform bed and is very soft. I'm very happy with the purchase at its current price point and may get the smaller size for covering up while watching movies in the summer. I do agree with the other reviewer that the color was more muted than in the picture, but I didn't mind that

When we first received it I was a bit skeptical as it was much thinner than I was used to, it looked flimsy, but after continuous use for 3 months now, it grew on me so much I want another one for general use. It's easy to wash and it's very useful, it folds small, looks nice and it's an overall a nice item to own. We have a cat who snags it with claws every so often, but I found that the threads can be pulled back without much trouble. So far loving it.

Upon first taking it out of the bag, there was a strong scent coming from the blanket. It wasn’t a “bad” smell, but more like it had been sprayed with Febreze or something. This was unexpected and pretty off-putting to me, and it made me question whether it was really a brand new blanket. I also checked for any damage, as there was a cut in the mailer bag which left the blanket exposed (luckily it was shipped in an Amazon box along with another order). There were a couple spots where the threads were just slightly pulled, but no significant defects or damage. I decided to go ahead and wash the blanket and give it a try. I initially agreed with the other reviews stating that the color was not as vibrant as pictured, but this may be largely due to varying displays across electronic devices. Viewing the pictures on my laptop (rather than on my phone), the color is actually spot on. It also appears more vibrant in natural lighting. Either way, I think it’s a very beautiful blanket. The first night using it, my husband already decided he really liked it, but it didn’t feel as soft as I would have liked or expected. I also found the stitching on the edge to be a little scratchy. However, the blanket seems to have softened up a bit after just a few more nights of use. I don’t know if it just needed to be broken in a little, or if I simply adjusted to it, but either way, I’m finding it to be more and more comfortable. It also feels very lightweight and breathable, which is exactly what I was looking for. Summers are way too hot where I currently live (and I tend to sleep hot anyway), so I wanted something that would be just enough to keep the chill of the AC/fan off me without making me hot and sweaty. Overall, I do like this blanket and will continue using it. Since I’ve only had it for about a week, I’m not sure how durable it will be. It does seem to snag pretty easily (shown in last picture), but considering I have a cat, it actually seems to be holding up pretty well in my opinion. So far this hasn’t been a huge problem for me, but it’s something for pet owners to consider so they don't start out with unrealistic expectations.

It is very soft but not as large as I thought. It also has 2 small holes in the fabric that we didn't notice until we put it on our bed.

I like to have some kind of blanket or throw on the couch when I'm sitting there. This is the perfect weight and it's soft. I love the pattern and the color.

Cute blanket but not for the purpose I wanted. Far too thin for be used as bedspread the way the thumbnail photo implies.

Beautiful textile. Haven't laundered it yet but don't expect a problem. One problem is that it is easy to catch a thread and make a pull. Must handle carefully and not good around cats. Lightweight but warm and soft.

I was looking for a black and cream diamond knit coverlet for my bed. This one was priced considerably less than others; however, the quality is great!
