You need to be able to melt the ends together and trim away excess. If you are comfortable with that, this is a great product.

This belt is oversized for the pulleys on my 9x20 lathe but let me tell you, I put a 6” 3 jaw chuck on the lathe and it works great! No squealing, I can do all operations including threading. Very easy to splice together, I use a heat gun and it’s strong. I have a more powerful lathe with less money than the original belt. Can’t wait to use it on a tool post grinder.

I use this on my sewing machine. Good quality, easy to make joints as long as it's clean, and not over heated!
