This is a substantial, heavy yet beautiful barn door handle. It is antiqued brass in color (it looks black in the picture)

This is a nice handle that really stands out. It’s like a nice piece of jewelry for my house.

This handle is built very well and was very easy to install with the included screws. They even give you an extra screw in case you loose one or break one. You can install with just a screw driver in a couple minutes. The handle is very sturdy and feels comfortable in your hand and that makes it easy to pull open. I also installed the flat finger pull on the inside of the door to make it easier to close or open the door from inside.The only downfall I found and the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the pull handle fastener a little loose. It did not affect the operation of the door and once screwed down it is fine. It just that the screw holes on the upper fastener are not horizontal like the one on the lower fastener. I also feel that the price is a little high for the product.

has some good weight to it. the retro gold is like a distressed gold coloring. the lock latch is black though - I was hoping they would all be the same color. makes it look like it's 2 different sets.

Mine came looking not like the picture or what I expected. It was not shiny and it looked like a black handle painted with cheap muted gold paint bought done by hand.. looked like a diy job. The paint on it did not even have a metallic shine to it like in the picture. I'm disappointed because I thought I was gonna love this. For $50 no way, I'll get a real metal one.. not cheap painted on metal look.

As originally manufactured, I am sure these were not gold if for no other reason than the provided latch hook is black (probably because it would not have painted gold easily). And while the gold coating is applied pretty well (I've seen other reviews calling is smeared on, but really the coating is better than that, just partial to look "antiqued") and it doesn't seem to rub off easily, it doesn't really look antique or rustic either. Maybe the problem is that gold just isn't a good antique color - better perhaps bronze or copper. Anyway, I bought this knowing full well that the gold didn't look great, but I have since lightly sanded them and painted them matte black, and they look perfect for my use. I like the handle style, and these pieces are truly big chunks of heavy metal - I don't expect they will wear out any time soon.

I bought this pull for a barn door I installed in my bedroom. Unfortunately I was off by a few inches in measurements for the width of this handle and my door trim. I ended up getting something smaller. However, this barn door pull is very sturdy and has some weight to it. It seems durable and made of high quality material. The gold is muted and seems to have been hand painted in a distressed finish. It also seems quite easy and simple to install. Basically just screw into the pre drilled holes. Overall this is a beautiful pull and would add a nice touch to almost any type of decor style.
