Very Good
I love bagels and these are great!! Large size, pre sliced, individually wrapped, good price. I keep them in the freezer, easy to grab one at a time, thaws quickly, toast in the air fryer and taste very good. Will order again when running low.

Buying on line?
One of the problems of buying on line is the inability to control the Best If Used By date of food products. I bought these 6 packs with 4 bagels in each pack, thinking that 24 bagels was such a good deal, and it really is if only I could have controlled that I am getting a Best If Used By date that would give me a decent time line for consuming the bagels while they are reasonably soft and tasty.I received my 24 bagels (6 packs) on December 27, 2022. The Best If Used By date is January 5th, 2023. Bummer. Today is January 4th, 2023 and I have only been able to consume 8 bagels. I don't think it is possible to chew and swallow the rest of them by tomorrow (by jaw would be too sore). So my rating is not on the quality of the 24 bagels but rather on lack of enjoyment I will miss in swallowing a tasty soft bagel and having to witness the unnecessary destruction of the balance of the bagels, through no fault of theirs. And that is my story and I am sticking to it.Update 1/15/23I have been thinking about my review (yes, it is possible that I think) and I believe my star rating was unfair to the bagels. The bagels cannot control when the Best If Used By date will show up. A date that is just a few days from their arrival in your home only means the bagel got a bad rap but it does not change the excellence of the bagel, which by itself deserves a five star rating. The bagel is a little less firm because of the bad Best If date but I still find them soft enough to enjoy (which I often eat without toasting, my favorite way).So how to give a a fair rating. Because of the problem with a late Best If date I have to compromise with a four star rate. Don't blame the bagel.

A day without Elie's Plain Bagels is like a day without sunshine.
what can i say? I am obsessed by these delicious bagels!! living now in the south & growing up on the east coast it took me years to find the perfect bagel, not the humongous BAGELS THEY SELL EVERYWHERE. TRY THEM, YOU'LL BE SURPRISED AT HOW DELICIOUS & PERFECT THEY ARE. JUST SAYIN... YOU'RE MISSING OUT, BIG TIME! YUM *****

Not a New York style bagel, but better than a supermarket "bagel."
Normally, I prefer the New York bagels from Just Bagels. However, I decided to save some money (since prices have increased *everywhere*!) and looked for a cheaper alternative. Elie's is the brand I chose, because the description said they DO boil their bagels as part of the cooking process. So, I expected something similar to my usual bagel brand. What I experienced was disappointment. When the package arrived, it was a *lot* smaller than my usual brand's packaging. This led me to wonder how they fit 24 bagels in such a small box. How was their packaging for the same quantity so much smaller? It's something that I should have checked before ordering: This particular bagel is only 3 oz. per bagel; my usual brand's bagels are a whole ounce larger at 4 oz.The size/weight definitely was noticed when I tried one: pathetically puny and not as filling when compared to my usual bagel. Well...so much for saving money! Also, the bagel takes longer to heat (from frozen), because the ingredients make a softer, chewier, and more dense bagel than my usual brand. This, for me, was a negative, as standard cream cheese (unwhipped) can tear the bagel. For me, about the only thing useful for this Elie's bagel would be to make an egg and cheese sandwich, as the bagel is that soft.I have since returned to the Just Bagels brand. They heat quicker, taste better, contain better ingredients, and do not fall apart when applying cream cheese.

Doughy, terrible tasting bagels.
Bought these several times last year and they were good. The ones I just received have a terrible taste and they are not properly made/cooked - after toasting them on the bagel setting, they come out doughy tasting and difficult to cut, as well as terrible after taste.Wouldn’t recommend these to anyone!

Very good product.
Bagels are very good. I will, in all probability, be purchasing again when I run low.

Ordinary packaged bagels
Delivered in 6 days. Not really “oven fresh” but loaded with preservatives. Expiration date of May 20 if that’s any indication.Nothing special, just ordinary, packaged bagels.I have contacted Eli’s directly. The owner swears that he was not the seller of these bagels. He says that another party bought this products at wholesale and resold them. Hence, the lack of freshness and quality.

Egg and sesame Free
I haven’t tried this yet, they just came last night, but my purpose for buying them is they are egg, free and sesame free which I am very allergic to both!! it makes me a little nervous that it doesn’t say that on the packaging but I guess I’ll find out when I try it Fingers crossed!I will update my review once I have tried them.
