Q: will this break if a car door falls against it while the handle is still in position ?

I believe it would hold up very good to a door being closed. The handle looks to be built very sturdy someone would have to slam the vehicle door very hard and deliberately to try and break the handle.

Q: will it fit any make of car/truck?

I believe so. It fit my Nissan Rogue. Give it a try. It’s made getting in and out of the car much easier for my husband. It it doesn’t work keep it handy in case you ever need to break a car window in an emergency.

Q: What material is the grip made out of? Does it contain rubber?

The inside of the grip is a solid alloy and the outside is a very thick layer of soft rubber. It allows for a firmer and more comfortable grip on the handle.

Q: Does this work for a Jeep Wrangler?

I don’t know but this is an inexpensive item that has several different uses. Plus if it doesn’t work on your jeep you can return it.
