I don’t think it’s loud. Neither of my dogs are bothered by it and one is afraid of the vacuum cleaner. I leave mine on auto so I can always sweep up hair and such. I love it, wish I would have bought sooner.

No it says the filter and screen are washable

Q: why can't I use a 3 prong adaptor? I only have 2 prong outlets...

You can by and adapter from hardware store or even on Amazon that turns a 2 plug prong out into 3 prong. We had to use them in our last home

If its a floor yes. but if its a dirt floor no. It will suck up the dirt.
