Not just for wrapping around your wrist.
I got these to use for storage boxes that I use to keep my camping and hiking gear in. This sounds weird but I take pictures of everything I put into each box then I print the thumbnails of the items onto A4 paper. It makes it far easier for me to flip through the pages and see the exact stove etc that I'm looking for. The sheets get put into a folder and each section gets the same colour as the wristband that I attach to the box. Instantly recognisable and I know what's inside before I even pull one box out. Saves so much time and distraction and also prevents the frustration of thinking I know where I stashed something only to discover it's not where I thought it was. So, yeah, great for what I need them for.
