Keeps the Filter Dust Free, Clean-Up is Easy
Fit well. Work great at keeping the dust out of our Rigid filter. Much easier to throw this bag away than clean the dust out of the filter. We use it on all our home improvement projects. We have never had a bag tear open, yet.

I have used these bags over the past several years and they have been outstanding. No leaks, good capacity and easy to change.

Ingenious!
I think a woman must have invented these! It makes so much sense, a bag for your shop vac that makes it act just like your household vacuum cleaner! Before I saw these, I patched the walls of my large dining room (9 1/2 ceilings, old horse-hair plaster) and sanded it with a hand-held sander. What a mess! When I tried to vacuum the dust with my Rigid vac with just a filter, it spit all the dust out the exhaust! I was so frustrated. I had no idea I needed a special filter for fine dust like drywall dust. Rather than go out and buy that filter, I just swept up most of the dust, used my Miele vacuum a bit (but I was worried about ruining my "good" vacuum) and steam mopped the dust residue. The clean-up took forever. When I was ready to tackle the next room (just as large) I figured there must be a better way. I couldn't deal with all that dust again! That's when I remembered someone mentioned a drywall sander that has a hose that attaches to your shop vac. I thought that would be great if I still didn't have to deal with cleaning out the shop vac or buying a special filter. Then I read about these bags in a review on the sander. I ordered a pack and used them in my shop vac without a filter. They worked great! Coupled with the hand sander attached by hose to the vac, I had virtually no dust in the room when I was finished sanding. Clean-up was a breeze. It was wonderful just removing the bag from the vac and disposing of it.My only issue was my Rigid vac is 10 years old and didn't have the hose opening as the bags were designed for. I had to finagle it a bit with tape to get it to work. At one point, the bag ripped where the tape was and I did get a little dust until I noticed what was happening. If your shop vac is a newer model listed on the bag packaging, you shouldn't have any problems.I highly recommend these bags and will not go back to using just a filter and having to empty the shop vac canister. If you are doing any kind of drywall sanding, I also highly recommend buying this sander too: Hyde Tools 09165 Dust-Free Drywall Vacuum Hand Sander with 6-Foot Hose

Not Sure if They are Worth More Than the Knock Offs
When I visited my local home center they only had the generic bags - in stock anyway. So I went on Amazon to get the OEM version thinking they would be a whole lot better and last a lot longer cause they are made by the vacuum manufacturer right? They are good quality bags for sure and fit my vacuum perfectly, but they do not look all that different from the generic brand (maybe a little thicker) and you only get two versus three, which is the case for almost all the other brands I looked at.I guess in the end time will tell, but to be honest, had I to do it over again, I would just get the universal ones. I just did not see enough to warrant almost double the price. Good bag for sure, just not a great value so four stars it is. Can I recommend them? Sure I can, but unless you have more experience with these bags over the universal ones than I do, I can't say they are better and it's extra money well spent. The End

OUTSTANDING ACCESSORY FOR YOUR VAC
I find the few negative reviews hard to believe. These bags are sturdy and don't fall apart even when fully loaded. They will handle fine dust, wood chips and shavings as well as the usual shop debris.Your vac must have a lip just inside the intake port to install these bags so some older models including Ridgid will not be compatible. One Ridgid model not listed as compatible is the Motor on the Bottom (MOB) which does have the lip and works fine.Using these bags does away with the nasty chore of dumping raw dust into the garbage and cleaning the pleated filter which stays almost perfectly clean.

Very Good Shop Vac Bag
I hate cleaning vacuums. When I found out I could get bags for both my shop vacs, I was really chuffed. I have been using them every since for sucking up dry stuff. Works great for cleaning the fire box on my smoker and cleaning up the ash in the fireplace. Make sure the ash is really out...leave ash to rest for 48 - 72 hours.....yup...made that mistake, ONCE. Anyway, I digress. The bags makes vac clean up non-existent. Bags hold quite a bit of debris so I do not need to change them often.

Great for cleanup and saving filters
I use these bags all of the time with my Ridgid 14-gallon vacuum. When using these, I barely ever have to worry about cleaning or replacing my HEPA filter. Cleanup is super easy as well, just disconnect the bag and dispose. The lack of filter replacement is worth buying these alone. They are pretty strong, but be aware that if you over-fill then they might rip when trying to remove them from the vacuum (due to snagging on plastic parts, not weight). This is not a negative on the product as it is up to the operator to check when the bag needs to be replaced. Overall I would highly recommend these bags for your household or shop needs.
