I'm not sure about the dimension but personally I would stay away from this property it's a cheap China built steel is not a good quality The same unit I paid over $400 for they must have lowered the price first time out the tongue bent I only had 150 lb in it buyer beware

Can I fold the sides down and secure cargo on top? Lightweight pvc mostly

We do not recommend this usage because there could be risks. Please do not carry more than 500 LBS, keep bottom area less than 60" x 25.6". And make sure the cargo is secured firmly.

Is this sturdy enough to put on back of 5th wheel Rv with the extra bounce associated with a towed vehicle?

Shouldn't be a problem. It's very sturdy I am use mine to haul trash and junk to the landfill. Takes a beating......No issues yet.
