This is fun for that difficult age. So it makes a great gift for a pre teen. It can be used for decorating their room, or for T shirts that link their friends. Hours of activities, even stenciling a carry bag is fun when the kids get together. Great project item. It is clean crisp colors. Easy to follow instuctions. Includes a project and some stencils but easlily added to for more challenge.

My son loved it. He painted his designs on his clothes and book bag. He was very excited to show it off after he was done. I’m am one proud mama.

This kit was such a fun activity for my kids! The screen printing took a little practice and we didn’t get the results perfectly at first, but we still had a great time and learned along the way. It comes with everything needed to try it out, and it kept the kids entertained. I would recommend it for a creative weekend project—just be patient and expect a little trial and error.

For my dottle was a good gift

Great project for my 12 year old on rainy days or when she’s got some time- she has yet to complete a project but enjoys the learning process.

I would normally expect anything with the National Geographic label to be of excellent quality. This kit looks like it will be fun and my granddaughter is looking forward to making the projects, BUT the quality of a few of the items is lacking. The "cotton string" included does not appear to be very substantial, so I am hoping it will last. A very disappointing thing was that the cotton string was a "wad" of tangled string that it took adults quite some time to untangle! The wooden eye needle is not smooth and does tend to catch on the yarn. UPDATE - I would like to add to my previous "review" that I contacted the supplier of this product about my concerns with some aspects of the items and the supplier sent me a complete replacement kit. I was very pleased with the customer service in addressing my issues.

Grandkids loved it

Not only did I begin learning to weave using this kit, and I'm 55, but I was able to teach the basic concepts to children ages 4 & 6. Absolutely would recommend!!!

Bought this for my friend’s daughter and we had a lot of fun learning how to weave together on a beach holiday.
