Kabcon tablet stand + Fintie bluetooth type cover = portable surface desktop
This review is about 2 products together:KABCON Quality Tablet Stand,Adjustable Foldable Eye-Level Aluminum Solid Up to 15-in Tablets Holder for Microsoft Surface Series Tablets,iPad Series,Samsung Galaxy Tabs,Amazon Kindle Fire,Etc.SilverAndFintie Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover, Ultra-Slim Portable Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard with Trackpad and Built-in Rechargeable Battery, GrayI have had both of these products for about 2 weeks. I have a Surface Pro 3 with an aging pro 4 type cover. I've really liked the device, but I was considering getting a new 2-in-1 device with a larger screen because I wanted to keep 2-in-1 convertibility but the surface pro screen was proving small in long uses of laptop mode. Plus, the ergonomics of long-term laptop use were not good for me. I have a docking station and monitor at home, which work great, but I also travel a lot, and laptop mode all the time is taking a toll. But I arrived at this solution, and I am very glad I did!Essentially, I have a portable desktop setup. The Kabcon tablet stand holds the surface pro up at a better ergonomic level, while the Fintie type cover, being bluetooth, stays on the table. The Surface pro is closer to my eyes, and my head and back are not so tilted! Plus, the stand is great for reading in tablet mode, and - this is the unexpected plus - I can change the orientation of the surface pro in the stand, and still keep desktop functionality. With this, I am able to keep the oem keyboard layout and compactness for travel (it replaces the oem keyboard physically) - the only significant added weight is the tablet stand. If you added in a dock, it would be a pretty good portable desktop experience. So, for about $80 for these products together, my Surface Pro 3 has come back to life for me.Now, the particulars about the Kabcon stand:The Kabcon tablet stand feels very sturdy and well-made. My Surface Pro 3 sits in the tablet holder with plenty of room to spare. There are appropriate rubber tabs to seat the tablet, and nothing is even close to gripping it - it's just seated in place by its own weight. As other reviewers have noted, the stand doesn't open or close too easily! On the desk with the tablet placed, you can rotate the legs with some effort and two hands. But you can't rotate the part that holds the tablet - you'd need to take the tablet off and do the adjustment with both hands, and then replace the tablet. So, it's not got the flexibility of the Surface Studio. If you wanted to go back and forth between a planar, drawing orientation and a more vertical viewing mode, like the Studio does effortlessly, I would not recommend this stand. It seems meant to be in pretty much one position at the beginning of your use, which is how I use it. The stand's stability is good. When I open the legs to the 90 degree vertical, and set the holder at the same vertical, I can load the Surface Pro 3 and everything is stable. But if I tilt the holder back somewhat to have a decent viewing angle, the stand loses it's stability and will fall over backward - I'd need to lower the legs. So, you may not get all the vertical height from the legs. Otherwise, it seems well made and sturdy, I would buy it again.

Great Stand! Pairs Wonderfully with the iPad Pro!
I found this stand to be a perfect match for my 12.9 inch 2018 iPad Pro. I have been using it for about a week so far, and here are my observations:1 - This stand has some weight to it which in my opinion, is a good thing. It will perfectly hold and balance any of the current tablets out there including of course the ultra expensive iPad Pro. That is a good thing. The last thing you want to do is pair a tablet like that with a small flimsy stand. This one is solid!2 - The rods that connect the bottom and top plates are made of a hard plastic, and there is a lot of resistance when making height adjustments which is a good thing in my opinion. I'm hoping that this isn't just due to the stand being brand new. Hopefully they will remain stiff over time. Again, this is to help keep your precious tablet in place.3 - The stand comes with a lovely "Thank You" card, as well as an extra set of rubber covers for the front of the stand. Little touches like that go a long way with me, and I think it's great customer service! My overall impression of this stand is that it is well made and the materials seem to be of good quality and the price is fair. My only concern is that the rods maintain their stiffness over time. This I will definitely pay great attention to! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a great quality stand that is portable, stylish, and most definitely useful.

Amazing Tablet Stand for iPad Pro Drawing!
A lot more of my drawing has been on the iPad Pro 12" due to its convenient and portable nature, and if you want to do that at a desk, or on a lap table this is perfect. Its extremely sturdy and compact nature makes it portable, although not the flatest design the build quality is top notch. Although I only recently picked mine up, my sibling has been using it for about 3 years and it still works fantastic. If you need a sturdy stand this is the best option hands down. It also comes with a carry bag which I strongly recommend when bringing this to other locations to avoid damage to other items in the bag.Pros:+ Extremely Sturdy+ Somewhat Portable+ Very Well Made Aluminum Product+ Fits Tablets and Laptops Securely- Heavier than Similar Products- Better for Set Locations than Every Day Carrying

Built to last, doesn't work well with thick cases
I've used this stand for over 4 years and it still works like new - it's sturdy. It's highly adjustable height-wise and can tilt forwards/backwards well. The only downside is the hooks aren't likely to fit your tablet if you use a larger/sturdy case. You can bend them with a pair of pliers for more space, but something like different sized inserts for different thicknesses or adjustable hooks would have been a nice addition.

I'm very satisfied.
Had a little bit of a funny smell on it out the box, like inscence or something, but no big deal. It's sturdy, strong and has nice weight to it at the bottom. The stand is awesome
