great for precious metals and other thin metal alike.
I needed a little craft saw that was robust, fine and easy to handle. This was super cheap yet has shown fantastic durability. Still using the first blade and under normal circumstances Id say this little fella has been hammered. Absolutely great value for money.

The media could not be loaded. If you're looking for something great, this jeweller's saw is a perfect example of a great waste of time and money. On the second first time I used it the blade would be slack in seconds. Upon tightening down a little more the frame's screw thread disintegrated within seconds. I have no idea which jeweller's piercing saw on here is any good, but this one it is not. I would have more hopes of gaining the power of telekinesis than I would have were I to order a like for like replacement. If you stumble across this saw, try not to let that stumble become a fall. Pick yourself back up and keep moving forward, away from this one.

Please don't waste your money on this saw, it's useless junk.
On the very first use the thumb screw to hold the blade treaded itself, it's a nasty soft alloy and not suitable for the job.

this was advertised as a jewellers saw frame and 12 blades it arrived on time but with only 1 (one) blade .

rubbish only got one blade .and the blade does not stay on it just does not work

Not as good as expected. But for the price paid is good.

Not really fit for purpose.
Albeit this is a type of small saw it is not really fit for purpose as the ability to tighten the wing nuts tight enough to allow any remotely sturdy pressure on what you're isn't possible. The threads on the wing nuts sheer under simple thumb / hand pressure. You can't get the blade tight enough to cut... And I was cutting a graphite golf shaft which is relatively soft! The adjustable arm constantly buckles due to not being able to tighten the top wing nut strong enough as the threads sheer and strip with ease.I'd definitely NOT advise anyone to purchase this unless perhaps you use it for cutting putty or perhaps something soft like pure gold??
