Odd question! I use it as a thickener for gravies and sauces, there is no specific taste as it blends in with the flavor of ingredients being used.

I don't know. I assumed is was not if it's labeled organic. I use about 3 Tablespoons max when I need thickening.

Top closure could be better, but the cornstarch itself is excellent.

I am so grateful there is an organic corn starch!!! It works good and tastes great. My only issue with it is that the zip at the top doesn't close that well and cornstarch comes out of the bag basically everytime we use it.
