This is 6-hole but I’m not seeing matching pads with 6 holes. Can someone tell me if the 5 or 8-holed pads function with the dust collection on this?

I have found that 3M multi hole pattern works will for dust connection, as does Noton Multi-air sanding discs. I use the 5" pads they work will and last a long time.

Do i just hook up a hose for the" self generated vacuum"? how long a hose can i use? thanks. i love the unit.

It should have came with the hose. If not 2 to 3 feet is perfect

There was no hose with this unit. The exhaust port is threaded inside. Is there a hose accessory available? Size of inside thread inside thre?

Mine came with the hose, which did indeed thread into that exhaust pipe coming out of the sander.
