Great budget headset. Decent sound and mic quality, nothing spectacular but it gets the job done well.

It's rare for me to find a headset that is comfortable for more than 20 minutes. Larger persons like myself (6' 2") rarely get to enjoy such things because they're not made with us in mind. Having said that, they could stand to be another inch larger in diameter.I bought this even though I already had a set because it was being discontinued and I wanted to be sure I had something I could use when my current set gives up. I'm still using my original set (at home) because they still work. I'm using this set at work because I can wear them for hours at a time and still be comfortable.I have had only one other pair of headphones this comfortable and they were discontinued before my dog chewed up the wires. I went through several pairs that hurt when I wore them, before finding these.I hope the manufacturer is listening - please keep making wired headphones. I detest battery-operated products; it just introduces another thing that can fail. My son has an expensive set of headphones that don't work because the battery won't keep a charge. It was less than a year old when it failed. Did I say it was expensive?Wire is cheap. Wire works until it breaks. Take care of it and it will continue to be serviceable.

I'm writing this review bored in my quarantine.I had ordered the Arctis 3 a few weeks ago after countless hours of research done into headphones. I play PC Games roughly 2 hours per day, maybe less, and wanted a comfortable pair of headphones that made me sound okay when talking in games and Discord to my pals.I ordered the Arctis 3 because it seemed it was very similar in quality to the Arctis 5, without the RGB on the sides of the headphones. My Arctis 3 microphone stopped working about 30 minutes into me using them, and I had to return them for that reason. I was really upset because I spent so many hours researching, and they were very comfortable so I was upset I had to return them.I ordered a Logitech-brand headphones and disliked them from the get-go. The sound quality was fine, but the comfort (My #1 desire) was lacking immensely.I landed on the Arctis 5 because no other headphone offered the material on the ears that Arctis' do. I'm annoyed at SteelSeries for sending me a borderline faulty product at first, but the Arctis 5 is very comfortable, the RGB is neat I suppose, and the sound/mic quality seem fair. I'm not a headphone connoisseur by any means, but these bad boys are very comfortable and don't seem to bother my ears after hours of wear. 4/5 due to the Arctis 3 problem I had.

Honestly you guys should really thank VLDL for always hyping your products. They are the reason your name stuck out to me. Great headset, fits my head snuggly. Sound quality is pretty good for the price. 3D sounds. Easy to take apart and put together. Just wish the box it came in held up better. It was a nice box but ripped really easily unfortunately…. Don’t judge meEdit: I spoke too soon idk if it is the AUX cord or what but it stopped working after 1 day. The speakers work fine but I cannot communicate with my party... which is the whole reason I got these! Gonna try a new AUX cord that might fix it. Won't change my review of it does, because they should provide you with proper equipment.

These are comfortable to wear for long periods of time even with glasses. I have a small head and didn’t even need to adjust the strap at all. They are not bulky and are lightweight. The foam is a little creaky when I move my head but it doesn’t seem to be in the joints and it doesn’t really bother me. My ears very slightly touch the fabric on the inside but it is so slight it’s barely noticeable. If you have ears that stick out a lot it might get uncomfortable. I think they sound pretty decent and the bass is nice. Not overpowering. The rgb is a nice touch. I have not played with the surround sound much so I can’t say anything about that. The sidetone is rather weak. The setting in the program doesn’t seem to do much and I have to control it with the Windows sidetone setting and I can barely hear my voice even with that setting all the way up. Mic works well and I like how it stows inside the earpiece. The dial for game or chat volume is very easily moved. Make sure you set it where it won’t get bumped. The adapter to be able to plug into my phone is also very nice. Overall I am very happy with this headset.

Would give it a 5 star but it didn’t come with the cord and the right side of the mic doesn’t work so not worth the money I paid. If the right side worked it would be a 5 star

Seller Score is 10/5. Couldn't be more satisfied with the seller. I'm really looking forward to do more business with them.Ok, now let's talk about the headset. IT'S AWESOME!! Ok, I have tried a lot of headsets in the past from Sony, Logitech, etc., etc., this headset within this budget of less than $100 is the best out there. Super comfortable, great build, very nice sound quality, I will use it for a lot of things like listening to music in the PC, gaming in the PS4, Audioconferencing in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. If you are looking for an over-ear headset for any of those things, you wont regret this one. Headset score 5/5 in sound quality, 5/5 in comfort. Oh, it has RGB, I didn't pay attention to that, when connected using the 3.5 mm it doesn't light up until you connect with the USB to the computer and then the RGB showed. It's a headset so I won't be seeing the RBG by myself so it really is a nice extra but not a must have in my opinion.
