This is an absolutely beautiful robe. I began buying this item several years ago. It is lovely at home, medium weight, and quite comfortable. Someone looking for a long road with a tie which would be comfortable in a hospital will not go wrong with this world. I have worn n several during hospital stays and they always attract compliments. The last one I bought which is the one featured here was for a relative scheduled for a hospital Visit. The fabric weight is good and to be perfectly honest it makes you pretty wherever you are.

HI, I am 5' 6" tall and weigh 165. I have the "dreaded tummy". The robe fits very well. Mid calf length. If you are pretty petite or a large woman, I don't think this it the robe for you. One size means one size. It was packaged very nicely. I read in other reviews, this was difficult to keep closed. Yes, I think it is very slippery polyester. You MUST use the inside tie and then tie the belt . Because it is polyester (I think), it doesn't breathe like cotton. I live in Reno and it is hot here in the summer. I have the AC on, but sit on the patio in the morning. Perfect! I got the Cyan Flowers. Kind of a mint/soft teal.

Long and silky. Needed one ironing for packaging folds. Absolutely love the eurasian birds and branches print ( eurasian bluebirds, green woodpecker, wren and thrasher). It's especially a great gift if you're a birdwatcher. It's a beautiful blue color, no pockets but the belt loops are a plus. It washed and hung up easily.

I purchased as a gift for a September bride. Beautiful colors. Love this grayish blue color with the peachy & beige floral pattern. It’s a slick poly type of material that’s rummy & comfy. I’m 5’5” about 135 to 140 - plenty of room in this robe. Disappointed that it didn’t have side pockets - this is the only reason for the 4 stars.

I really love this robe and even though I have one or two things I could say miss the mark, honestly, I’m still really happy with this purchase. I went with the dark green one with the white flowers and cranes and it’s really subtle and beautiful. I might even order another one just to rotate. I have my eye on that bright red one as well. My biggest complaint is that there’s no loop to hang this by. That seems like such a silly oversight. I don’t like hanging any clothing on hooks by the material itself, and especially not in the case of something silky like this. For the time being, I’ve been draping the entire robe over the hook so as not to stress the fabric or damage it at all and who knows, maybe that’s just what I’ll have to do forever. Not a huge deal, but it’s the biggest reason I’m not rating this 5 stars. Be aware that the material is extremely silky, which is great, but that means it doesn’t grip well, so you’ll need to use the inside tie to keep things in place. You’ll also need to either double knot the sash or pull it very tight to keep it from slipping. That’s just the nature of this type of material. It’s a lovely robe. If only they’d put a loop so I could hang it up, I’d have given it a 5/5. Edit to add: I went to a tailor and they were happy to add a loop to the robe. It was easy and $10 and you can’t even tell from the other side. Whenever I decide to order a second one, I’ll go and ask the tailor to add a loop to that one as well (yeah, I love the robe enough that I’ll order a second one, even though I still think this company deserves the biggest eye roll for leaving that out).
