Material quality is good. Little stiff/not smooth while sliding... Maybe with time it will get better. Would have been much more better if the jaws were narrower and pointed rather than a broad one.

Quality is fair, just matching with the price. Least count 0.1mm is ok to suit the general applications. Overall ok to buy.

Extremely VFM
The jaws were not parallel and there was slight 0 error but that was fixed by slight hammering and filing. Now my caliper has accuracy of greater than ±0.04mm. Considering it has a precision of 0.1mm therefore the accuracy is beyond what is required. I really liked the size, easy to carry around in a pocket and in tight spaces. The material is indeed stainless steel and since I have filed the jaws, I have verified this. If you are okay with ±0.5mm accuracy, then this product is for you, otherwise you may need to adjust the jaws a bit or get a higher precision model which costs 1500+.
