Robust flavor
This corn kernel tea has a robust flavor. I enjoy it even more than the corn kernel tea a friend shared with me (don't know the brand). The tea is pricey, but tastes good. For me, 3-4 Tbps of kernel remains flavorful enough for a mug of 10 oz of water and a couple of refills.

Drink and enjoy this tea!
At first I found this tea at a Korean store and I fell in love with this tea! I like it better than roasted barley tea because it has very nice aroma and I believe it helps digestion after eating. I lost several pounds during summer because I was drinking a lot of this barley tea. Drink this tea instead of boba tea :)

Wasn't for me; thought it was roasted rice for genmai type tea
I'm not a tea expert by any means and I'm sure that this type of tea has many supporters. But it wasn't for me and I'll be the first to admit that it was my fault. But buying something you don't like and is different than you thought it might be, are some of the risks associated with online buying where you can't see first, what you're about to buy. I was originally looking for a type of roasted and popped rice that is often added to green tea to create genmaicha. This "tea" by McCabe seems to be something different that the Japanese roasted and popped rice. As it turns out, I did manage to find what I was looking for on Amazon in the form of Senbird's Mochi Rice Tea product, so all is good. Unfortunately, I was unable to return the McCabe product I purchased. I'm sure it's a great tea that many enjoy, but be aware that it is not (in my view), the traditional type roasted and popped rice you find in Genmaicha teas from Japan. I gave McCabe's product 4 stars because I can't knock what is apparently different than what I expected. At the same time, I did try the tea, and I deducted a star because my opinion on it's taste is something I can provide a personal opinion on, and it wasn't something I would enjoy as a tea for myself.

Total Rubbish Product!!!
Worst barley tea ever!!! My wife and daughter are from Japan so we know what barley tea aka Mugicha is supposed to tastes like. We followed instructions on first attempt but the water was so light colored and had no taste that on our 2nd attempt, I used triple the amount, ground the barley in a coffee grinder and used one fourth the water. The end result is supposed to be 12 times the strength but it still had way less flavor than the regular store bought premade bags. This product is a total FAIL!!! Shame on the people hyping up and giving this product a good review.
