Very absorbent and does not stick to wounds. I have a vascular wound on my lower leg and it likes to drain a lot, especially when I have certain treatments like stem cells or skin graphs. This adds a double layer of protection that I put on along with an absorbent bandage. It works well and can absorb a lot to where it’s pretty saturated when I take it off. I’ve tried others, but this one works really well. It can hold up to almost 5 times its weight! So if you have a wound or something that has heavy to moderate heavy flow or drainage definitely purchase these you won’t be disappointed. The price is a little steep, but it is well worth it because it saves your clothes, your sheets and just about anything that you don’t want your drainage to stain or get onto.

I was changing dressing 6 times a day until I tried this version, without the adhesive. Was able to cut into two strips, then use water resistant 3M tape. The two together kept the medication on the wounds longer, without requiring constant changing, and no snagging when moving. Wish these came in bulk boxes

Have had larger heel protectors that are bulky and hard to sleep with, they did their job but were uncomfortable for a night’s sleep. These are smaller and easily fit under loose socks to hold in place. After using for a few nights my heels are much better, no tender spots. I’ll keep wearing them to prevent pressure sores on my heels.
