Rack goes below ceramic briquettes. Fits perfect in Ducane grill, model 1200HLPF. Note size is 14" x 20" not 14.125 x 20.125 as listed. Purpose of this rack is to prevent burnt pieces of meat, vegetables, or whatever ya cooking from falling onto burners.Notice spaces between slots of first picture. This rack is Assembled Wrong. Burnt pieces of meat, vegetables, or whatever ya cooking will fall through rack and onto burners. When burners become clogged with burnt stuff. Bad things happen.First picture is defective rack that is Assembled WrongBought second rack. This one is Assembled Correctly. See second picture.Third picture is old rack that was Assembled Correctly.Fourth picture are the ceramic briquettes that go on top of rack.Fifth picture is label from both racks.Sorry no picture of BBQ chicken. We ate it.This part is constructed from two pieces that are spot welded and riveted together. Defective rack has one piece rotated 180 degrees. Simple mistake.

Got a new B'pit

I am using this for my own improvised grill top on a winter indoor alcohol burner and not as a part for any particular model. For this purpose, it works great and the metal and rivets are good quality. The size is good and versatile. I could recommend it, if you need a metal grill top at a good price to value for this burner size.

Manufacturing defect. The gates are supposed to offset each other. The one I recieved the grates were lined up. Some else posted the same feedback here on 3/21/2023 along with pics.
