A great alternative to other known brands
Following some research and like many others, I purchased on the basis of not requiring ongoing cloud storage.I made some enquiries to Wuuk on the base unit storage capacity before purchase and enquiries were responded to expediently and incredibly helpful. I choose the Smart Doorbell Pro Kit over the hard wired version (although this version can be hardwired too), on my thinking that having the base unit inside my property, as opposed to the hardwired version where a SD card is inserted in the doorbell would give extra protection of storage of footage if the doorbell was damaged or stolen. Also having the base unit provided me with option of further expansion of wireless cameras at a later date.First impressions are that the doorbell and base unit are well designed, and the app provides good functionality for my needs. I managed to set up very easily and have operational within 10 minutes. Having been supplied with two mounting plates (and template) is good and I used the 15 degree mount as better for viewing my driveway access. The system has been operational for approx. 2 weeks now, firstly as non-hardwired and then hardwired with appropriate din rail transformer and cabling. Again I raised a minor query regarding direct power supply and again answered swiftly and helpful. Battery life was around 5 days, but I assume dependent on number of events and remote viewings etc. Hardwiring, for me was a useful and better option. Clarity of daytime and night time imagery is good. I am only utilising 1080p not 2K, to gain more storage , although the device seems to have plenty of capacity and may change back to 2K.Over the weeks, I have been playing with the app to determine the best settings, motion detection etc for my environment and needs, applying learning from this to make tweaks to maximise the best operational use.My only comments so far is that, on occasion motion detection alerts can have a slight fluctuating time lag (but this could be latency in the system as a whole), battery life if not hardwired was below my assumed expectation, but again dependent on usage and hardwiring has overcome this. Also, for any future models ,if not hardwired then perhaps the back plate latching mechanism could be further developed, especially if frequently dismounting the doorbell to charge from the rear of device, e.g. by means of a security screw. All in all from my experience so far a fantastic product with exceptional ongoing support.

The Best Doorbell Camera
I was hesitating buying a Video Doorbell camera for a long while because I could not find any that ticked all the boxes for me. When I finally saw one - The WUUK 2K Wireless Video Doorbell Camera, Free 32GB Local Storage Base Station, I was happy I bought it. This is a GREAT product. The camera picture is Superb in quality. Truly 2K.The design is cute. The set up was easy and it paired easily with our phones. The ringing volume from the Base station is sufficiently loud. No need for additional chimeNo need for cloud storage subscription. It is over 1 month installed and yet still has 70% batter power unused. It is good for the price. I am happy with the product In conclusion, I considered it to be best one can get in the market at the moment. Pretty much better than those popular ones by name.I will recommend this product to anyone. Very GOOD product

Does the job - but can have issues with the cold & Alexa integration broken.
Update: December 2024: It appears Amazon / Alexa no longer fully supports the WUUK Skill. As a result:- Video is no longer viewable on Alexa App or on Echo Show.- Door alerts no longer sent to Echo Show / Echo Dot, etc.- Microphone link from Alexa App to doorbell is disabled.Gone through disconnecting and re-linking WUUK and Alexa multiple times, and Alexa reports connection - but nothing works. Multiple reports to this effect placed on the WUUK site, although the issue does appear to be more on amazon / Alexa's side of things.Pros:- Easy to install.- No subscription required.- Choice of ringtones (including adding your own).- Good volume on ringing.- Relatively direct connectivity with Alexa Alexa Skills options.Cons:- Alerts of people approaching the front door / on doorbell use via Alexa or when the Wuuk app is set to Away mode can be variable. Sometimes they are sent (or received), others they are not.- Severe cold seems to affect the doorbell battery. Wuuk support claim this should not be the case, but during the very cold (-around -5 to -6C) nights we had here in December / January, the doorbell simply stopped working on three occasions (with the battery at over 80% charge), and just bringing it indoors and sitting it on the sideboard to warm up for an hour in all three cases restored normal operations.

WUUK products
I have used Wuuk doorbell and wall cameras for over a year now. These devices have good picture quality (2K), and easy to set-up with the APP on the phone, with loads of extra features available, if you are so inclined. In particular, I used the APP to set up the ‘zone of activation’.I especially like the fact, that there is no subscription required and so no ongoing costs. A memory card is not needed, as it is all recorded on the base station. Another good thing about these devices, is the long-life battery capacity. However, the main reason I am putting this review forward is the excellent customer service. I recently had a problem with the doorbell, and the email communications back and for to WUUK were first class. The responses to my queries were very timely, and in the end, they supplied me with a new doorbell camera, so fantastic. I would highly recommend WUUK products.
