Great little knee scooter!
Pneumatic Tires! That was the main reason for buying this model AND the price. Other models with pneumatic tires (air inflated tires) cost a lot more than this scooter. If you have ever used a knee scooter with hard tires and had problems rolling over even the smallest rock in a parking lot or rolling over the edge of a rug and nearly falling because the wheel catches you will think this scooter is a Godsend. This scooter came ready to use. The tires were inflated and all you had to do is properly insert the knee support add a little foam and a pad cover and you are off and rolling. I am a 240 pound man at 6 feet tall and this scooter fit me perfectly. All you need to do is follow the directions on setting it up. Easy to do and easy to use.

Very sturdy, tight turning radius, and a smooth easy ride!
I absolutely love this knee scooter! This is my second scooter. I would compare this to the superior rated swivelmate that is no longer available on Amazon, but this one seems sturdier. It's only slightly heavier, but worth it. I feel safe on it. I love that the seat adjusts to the right or left, depending on which foot you need to use it for. I would highly recommend this product. The only issue I had when I opened it out of the box was the handlebars didn't line up with the front axle, but I was able to adjust it very easily just by using my feet on each side of the axle and turn the handlebars to line it up. Also, I needed to adjust the brakes so they wouldn't catch on the back tire while riding. Super quick easy fixes. I've tried many scooters, and this by far is my favorite one. Love the tire wheels! Much better than the plastic ones. Update: Took this scooter out in public today. It rode like a dream!

Excellent Product, So Pleased!
Husband needed a good scooter to use while healing from ankle surgery. We were extremely pleased with the durability and ease of use. It fits well in the back seat of our truck to haul around and the basket is a real asset. He puts his cell phone and sometimes his drink in that basket and just scoots around the house!

really great product
My wife had her second foot surgery this spring and we got one of these scooters for her to use. It is absolutely the best scooter money can buy ! Perfect balance and a smooth ride even over gravel or handicap plates on sidewalks. A friend loaned her a much cheaper model with hard rubber tires and a narrower spread. She tipper over twice. Never with this model. We had one wheel bearing get noisy and the company replaced it overnight with no questions or charge ! A five star purchase if there ever was one.

Major problem with one wheel, after a few days use!
I can't even imagine what life following ankle surgery would have been like without this! It moves soooooo easily. It maneuvers around so beautifully. It is easy to adjust to the right height. And it is so solid and stable, that I feel very safe on it. And it's really wonderful to be able to go outside with it.Uh Oh! Within a few days of use, one wheel locked up on me. It wouldn't turn forward or backward. Couldn't turn it by hand. A mechanic looked at it and said it was a bearing, and couldn't be fixed. And then the tube inside blew! Very disappointed....My attempt to contact the seller was completely ignored. They NEVER even responded to my problem. Seller: Andrew Street

Great walker, has locking brake
I bought this before I went in for major surgery on my ankle. We bought this one because it was one of the few ones that was rated for 350 lbs and had a locking brake. I had to rent one a few years ago and spent $400 for 2 months of use and I was able to purchase this one for half than and get locking brake. You need two hands to use the locking part on the brake but I feel much more secure when I know the scooter is not going to go out from under me when trying to get on or off it. We had also purchased Vive memory foam pad but it does not fit this seat. The seat is not comfortable without a pad and I recommend the sheepskin with the 1 inch foam insert.

Alas, A Big Let Down *sigh*
Wished this would solve my problem but it was just too unsafe and unstable, and poor quality to boot. I've been using the kneerover deluxe (for a torn achilles) for the past week or so and its a great product...except over non-smooth surfaces (driveways, streets, grass, etc). The all-rubber wheels on the kneerover offer little shock absorption and u feel every pebble rattle thru ur body (and injured ankle!). Only options seemed to be the all-terrain kneerover with air-filled tires (400 bucks tho) and shock absorber or this orthomate product, with air-filled tires but no shock absorption. Upon taking it out of the box it seemed to have promise, although you could clearly see the places where the company cut corners (cheap rear brake, cheap/frustrating seat adjuster, very wobbly steering column). It was quite revealing that in the box with the product was a note from the manufacturer that if you had any issues with the product to call THEM before sending back to Amazon (which I did). Never saw that before but I suspect I know why now. Took it for a few spins down the street and almost tipped over twice. Steering was quite wobbly and it was unstable for sharper turns. In fairness, the ride was a bit smoother over uneven terrain, which is really the only thing this device was good for.

I am not really sure why the last review was so poor. after looking at all the other units and reading the reviews from those who was unhappy. This unit was by far the simplest unit to use. I found the quality is there, It did take a little effort with the seat adjustment but I am in a cast and it is difficult to see the set screw. but that is only needed to be done once. The steering column is solid and very easy to adjust. The only complaint I thought it came with a basket.
