My Go To Knife
This is an excellent knife. I was gifted a sushi knife many years ago. It is the sharpest knife I've ever used, but it requires a lot of maintenance and TLC given that it is not stainless (can rust), has an asymmetric blade (more difficult to sharpen), and wood handle (not "dishwasher safe" although I always wash my best knives by hand). The Japanese make excellent steel and knives; the Americans (aka made in China) not so much. So when I used this knife at a friend's house, I was impressed and bought one. Nice weight, balance, sharpness, grip, blemish free and easy to sharpen. It doesn't hold an edge as well as my sushi knives, but that is to be expected. It's my go to knife.

Really
This is a wonderful and sharp knife turns anything i cut into butter . I buy meat in bulk and cut them into the desired pieces so I need a dependable knife and this one is standing up to the test. However, I will buy a knife sleeve for it. Avoid the unwanted cuts (yup did me). It is really sharp glad I bought.

Nice knife, skinny handle
Handle was to narrow for my liking. If I held the knife dead center it was fine. I have big hands so I like a regular style wider handle. Knife looks nice and cuts good. Ended up giving to a friend as a present.

Love it - real Japanese product with good quality
This order actually came and shipped from Japan - and at a cheaper price from the US seller. It was also much cheaper than the same product sold at my local Japanese supermarket (Mitsuwa). Finally, it is light and sharp - easy to handle and comfortable to hold. It is now my default knife for all my veggie cutting. Highly recommended.

Great steel
This knife is amazing. The steel has kept its sharpness and it’s such a well balanced knife. Makes chopping fun!

It's looked good but not strong enough to cut the bone.
I kept it since I damaged it.

Best knife I've owned
I've been using a cooking knife I bought 20 years ago and it has been working just fine. I saw this reviewed in a magazine and decided to get this. I've used other knives in different kitchens and at my friend's houses but this one is on a different level. I haven't seen a knife this sharp and works awesome. Also, the price tag is very reasonable, and I've been recommending it to all my friends.

Manche un peu fin pour grosse paluche. Mais au final, on s'y habitue et on s'aperçoit de la finesse, de la légèreté, et de la précision du couteau Japonais . Rien à envier à Global.
