I used this screen as a pond screen filter and it is holding up very good for a year now without any rust.

Used stainless #60 micromesh to cover downspout cache basins to keep debris, mosquitos out of drainage system. Cut easily with scissors. Used leather gloves to handle and fold. Hammer to mold corners tight. Taped edges with thin cut strips of electrical tape. Tapped into place lightly with hammer. Water passes through readily. Already filtered out a lot of debris from flowering trees. Seems to be quality product. No unraveling. Post 3 weeks with intermittent days of Spring showers - no rust, no failure. Waiting for first deep freeze to eval performance. So far no issues. Super fast ship. Good price for amount of material.

Uniform spacing of this mesh screen makes it one of the best wire mesh products I've encountered lately. These two pieces of screen come nicely rolled in a single paper wrapping and is easy to cut. While working with it, I found that the weave stays attached with no runs of lose wires. Even though this is a very fine weave, the small stainless wires are very strong and flexible. I can't speak to this screen's long-term durability in wet environments because I've only had it in place for several weeks, however, it appears of higher quality than the screen it's replacing.

The screen arrived promptly and in good condition. The intended purpose is for straining liquids. Because the label on the roll received was so much different than that advertised on the website, I made some measurements. Peeling one crimped wire off the edge, I counted 20 valleys & peaks along one inch of length, verifying 40 mesh. The wire diameter was typically 0.007" (0.18 mm) and as small as 0.006" (0.152 mm). Aperture size calculations: (25.4 mm - 40 wires x 0.16mm) / 40 apertures = 0.475 mm = 475 microns/aperture. Measuring the diameter where a sewing needle went through the holes, it was approximately the same as the calculated dimension. Note that the advertised aperture was 200 microns and the label on the roll was 800 microns but it's actually more like 450 to 475. It's good screen, but not accurately described.

I bought this to cover air vents . It is relatively easy to cut with regular scissors , but make sure you wear gloves to protect your hands . It is slightly bendable and the holes are small.

Bought this to smoke hot peppers on to make chipotles. Easy to cut, fine mesh allows smoke to circulate in my electric smoker, and easy to clean in a dishwasher Perfect for this use.

I am going to use it to put over my bathroom screen because I like to leave the window open but the original screen has very large openings and small bugs come in. This new screen is PERFECT!! The small openings will not allow tiny bugs in. Thank you so much! Also, the squirrels like to bite on the wood around my home, this screen will stop them from biting. There are so many great uses for this product. I can't wait to use it. It's so thin, it fits anywhere and I am pretty sure I can paint it so that it is unnoticeable around my home. Yes, wear leather gloves when you handle it, the edges are sharp.
