This product doesn't keep my cat from sharpening his claws on the furniture whatsoever.In fact I think the minty smell attracted him more. Waste of money. You get what you pay for I guess

lI bought this because one of our cats was very sick with kidney issues that she later passed from. We wanted to make certain all the odors of her accidents were gone so the other cats would not use the bathroom in the same are. It worked. We had not problems with the cats getting in that area. The smell worked to calm them and it lasted a long time. Hopefully we do not have to experience this again but if we do this is the product we will go to for help.

It worked on my cats until it didn’t. I sprayed it on my tree if I noticed the cats starting to go near it. It kept them out for a while. Then as the days kept going, they just didn’t care and I was just in my Christmas tree all the time. The scent is unpleasant for it to lose its effectiveness on the cats. I am not sure if it’s just my cats don’t care and are living life to the fullest or if this is how all cats are with this.

I’ve bought this product a few times to deter my cat from peeing outside her litter box. While the product works, together with the diligence of keeping the litter box clean, I think the product is a helpful tool. My one complaint is that the spray nozzle is leaky & messy on every bottle I’ve tried. That needs improvement.

Our newest fur baby kitty (male tabby with some bengal) is a total sweetheart , but an aggressive scratcher. This product definitely deters him from furniture and drapes while we redirect him to his scratching posts. Just a couple little sprays is very effective and doesn’t leave any spots on fabric. It has a natural smell, similar to cloves which dissipates after a few minutes to us humans , but lingers longer to kitty noses.

This doesn't work. Kitten walks over areas like a boss. The smell did not deter him. Disappointed. Maybe I didn't spray enough as I'm worried about liver toxic essential oils cats are susceptible to.. so there's that. But still disappointed in the product.

5 ⭐️ so far. We have two cats that will climb our screen door to let us know they want out. I’ve recently replaced the screen because their claws absolutely shred the screen material. And their at it again climbing and tearing the new screen door. We have the air in a can motion sensor but I’m done buying the expensive refills . Thought I’d try a fragrant based deterrent and for three days the cats have touch the screen once. I’m hoping this continues to work. For now I’m ecstatic about the results.
