It has fantastic pictures that show what body parts are helped by super foods. For example a walnut looks just like the brain and also helps the brain. Carrot slices look like the iris and help the eyes There is a big need to teach children at a young age what foods make their body strong as they are surrounded by processed foods that do not make their body strong. I wish there were many more books of this kind that are delightful, informative, not preachy for educate children of all ages.

Innovative and fun!
In Super Foods for Super Kids, Joy Hale gives children, and their parents, a fun, innovative look at the relationship between nutritious foods and the parts of the body that they both resemble and strengthen. This concise little gem of a book is colorfully illustrated and clearly written, encouraging kids to make look at healthy food choices in a whole new way. I think that adults will appreciate the information as much as their children. Nicely done! -- Nancy C.

Great to help child try new foods
This book is great for helping my 7 year old son try new foods! Very fun way to find out how foods can help our bodies!

great intro for the purpose of food
My 3 and 5 year old really enjoyed this book. They loved the art work specifically the happy faces. They enjoyed learning a bit about why we eat certain foods. I think it is a great resource to start the conversation of why we eat certain foods and how they help our body function. Great intro for sure.

Great book for kids!
I recently started giving nutrition and cooking classes for kids so I am gathering some books to complement my classes. I ordered this one and it came super fast (we literally lived on the other side of the world and only took a few days to get it). It is interesting and catching for the kids, it shows connections and similarities between our body parts and foods that I never even thought about. My 3 year old loves it and keeps requesting it at bed time. I will for sure use it for my classes.

Adorable, informative and a great quick ready for kids!
This book is very well written, informative, an easy, quick read and the illustrations are ADORABLE! I, as the parent, also learned so much about certain foods affecting the body parts that they look like-who knew?! A great book to get kids interested in the “why” behind healthy eating. :)

Mind-blowing body and food connection for youngsters!
Amazing book that children (and adults) can instantly connect to and understand! It has tremendous potential to encourage anyone to analyze the food they're putting into their body! My children immediately requested walnuts and carrots after reading! Thank you!
