These have a full rubber outsole with a very aggressive tread. Almost what you might find on a hiking boot yet the sneakers are still relatively lightweight and feel breathable. There is some mesh on the top part of the foot with slightly thinner fabric in that area for breatheability but they are heavy duty elsewhere, right where they need to be. There is a flexible, removable foam insole and generous cushioning in the footbed.The only issue I can possibly foresee with these and won't know for certain without heavy usage over time is how the glued rubber tread will hold up. The traction knobs stick out 3/16th of an inch past the 1/16th inch base that is glued to the bottom. Not sure if this will withstand significant repeated impact or if it will cause the tread to pull away from the sneaker. It doesn't seem like a huge wear base but I did try to pull the tread away from the sneaker and it was very solidly attached.Overall, this is an attractive and functional running shoe that should last a long time.These are made in China.

My son has barely taken these running shoes off since I first gave them to him to try. He loves them! To start with, the fit is wonderful. They fit him exactly as the size would suggest, just right. Secondly, he has commented over and over on how vented they are. They keep his feet cool on even hot days, and just seem to have an air flow-through like few athletic shoes do. He's a runner, and he loved how these held up to his runs. They were flexible yet supportive, and gripped the ground well. He liked it that the soles were thick enough to be protective but he still felt like he could feel the terrain well.On top of all that, these are just darn good-looking! I love the red, gray and blue. They stand out enough to look cool, but don't look overdone with the color---they are just enough different looking than most running shoes that it's fun to wear them.Absolutely recommended!

From a fashion standpoint, these shoes are an A+. They are very easy on the eyes, which inspired me from the first time I saw them.My two complaints are not major, but they made me rate the shoes 4 stars instead of 5:- Comfort: I own a couple pairs of Adidas Boost shoes, and they are noticeably more comfortable. These Columbia Montrail shoes seem not only more stiff, but also less cushiony. I’d choose my Adidas over these, even on trails.- Laces Too Short: There are an extra set of laces eyelets at the top of the shoe to keep your heels pushed back into the heels. I always use those eyelets. The problem is that when you use them, there is scarcely enough lace left to tie a bow. This is a design flaw.Overall, I think you’ll be happy with these shoes. If the ultimate in comfort is your aim, though, keep looking.

I had absolutely no idea Columbia made (or collaborated making) shoes...and I think I’ve been missing out. The way these looked, mostly the colors, were not the most appealing to me at first, when looking at the pictures in the listing. That changed when I opened the box as the pics did just not do them any justice. These seem to be very well made (time will tell for sure) and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned. The fit is great and on point and there is literally a bit of a spring in my step via the midsole. I’ve got a bit of a wide foot and a very high arch but these fit like a glove...for my feet...Running and I have a complicated relationship but these feel as though they help bridge the gap for me a good bit. These make running a little less painful and I wish I’d known of these sooner.

Estan muy cómodos, el envío tardo menos de lo que decia la pagina, tengo unos Salomon X Ultra y ahora no se cuales llevar a la montaña. Recomendables al 100% de los mejores calzados de hiking que he tenido

Ich habe diese Schuhe gekauft und seit zehn Tage benutze. Das ist wirklich Super. Ich habe solche Schuhe bis jetzt nicht getragen.

adepte de merell (en 44) j'ai dû changer de crémerie pour trouver chaussure à mon pied.chez columbia j'ai dû prendre du 43 1/2 (un 43 aurait fait un poil juste).un poil plus large au niveau des oreilles par rapport à du merell, mais ça devrait faire l'affaire.niveau poids et SURTOUT drop, je retrouve de bonnes sensations.A confirmer en course :+1:
