Theatrhythm Final Bar Line - PlayStation 4

Awesome fun game. I really enjoy it. I've always loved the FF music over the many years I've played them.

I absolutely loved this series for the 3DS. I was shocked when I saw the announcement of a new entry in the series. Being in PlayStation and Switch this time around mix up the controls to give fans a while new experience to look forward too.The incredible selection of over 300 just in the base game alone means there is an incredible amount of replay value. Not to mention over a hundred characters you can have in your party and several difficulty levels to set high scores on. For Playstation users this is a great game for thophy hunting. I have to image on Switch this would be an excellent game to take and play undocked.

The soundtrack is huge and the roster is even bigger! I love that you can create a team of your favorite Final Fantasy characters and have endless combinations of their abilities. The songs are super fun but challenging at times.

If you liked the other Theatrhythm games but handhelds made it difficult, this is the perfect version. Over 380 songs and more coming in DLC. 30+ from FFXIV which are all amazing and a bunch from other more recent games, not just the mainline ones. The RPG elements also had a fun twist and give you a sense of progression.If you're a fan of Final Fantasy and love rhythm games this is a no brainer.

I don't play handheld games, so I was excited that this series finally made it to the PS4. I am a long time fan of both Final Fantasy and rhythm games, so this was a perfect match for me. Musically, I have no complaints. There are 300+ tracks from which to choose, so it's a serious time commitment just to play everything once. There are also plenty of characters from which to choose, and plenty of customization and quest options to keep you busy. All that being said, the game mechanics for the rhythm game itself is probably my least favorite out of everything I've played. Controls are fairly simple and repetitive (two buttons and two joysticks), with options to make the controls even simpler. Increased difficulty comes primarily through the number of notes being thrown at you. I'm also not really a fan of the art design. Competitive online play is dead; online rooms are either empty or camped out with a single high-level player who will destroy you. Bottom line, if you're a huge fan of Final Fantasy music, this game will probably still be worth it for you, but anyone primarily looking for a new cutting-edge rhythm game is going to be a little disappointed.

This game is great, easy to play, and contains music from one of the best video game franchises in history. If you love the music of Final Fantasy, you must get this game.

This is a great game to play whenever you've got a few minutes, or even hours at a time.
